Hi Kubeir! I think you are the right person to whom I can address my proposal to IRCC for a possible solution to reduce the backlog. I would suggest that IRCC use a marginal cost-pricing methodology instead of the current single layer fee system. Let me explain my idea. We know that to process applications faster IRCC needs more funds to hire more specialists. And since the budget is limited and number of applications is increasing, the backlog keeps growing. To tackle this issue, I suggest using a marginal cost-pricing or differentiated tariffs which will allow applicants, who can’t wait and who have the means to pay an addition fee for fast-track processing, to obtain a visa in a faster way. Such a decision will reduce the backlog without increasing government spending, and most importantly, reduce stress for applicants. It is a business approach and it always works!

Asking on a friends behalf: He want to apply canada visit visa & have work visa in UK until April 2027 but as per home office policy they have only issued BRP(British Resident Permit Card) until 31-12-2024. Now while filing Canada visit visa form, it is asking for current visa expiry date. He is confused what date he should enter as he needs to attach BRP copy as well with visa application. He has the home home office email for exact visa duration when it was issued.

I know we can still apply for visit but since we've already rendered our intention to permanently stay in Canada, wouldn't visa officer will be cautious on Express Entry Profile? Would that be a wise step to delete Express Entry Profile for the time being, I am afraid that may be taken against transparency.

Thank you for this informative video. I had applied for my parent's visa which was refused. Now they don't have any assets in their name. I submitted my brother's birth certificate, house sale deed which they live as a family unit, and my mother's bank statement, which is not great. Now should I ask my brother to apply for a new visa for my parents or should I send my brother's bank statement? What else I can do to prove that they are just coming to visit me and will be gone in 2 months.

I am in 4th month of my pregnancy and hesitant towards performing Chest x ray. I am planning to complete the re-medical except Xray and request for chest x ray deferral from panel physician till child birth. This might delay x ray by 6 months. Can this entail rejection of file by IRCC? is it possible that they now consider my new medicals with exception of chest x ray considered from first medical report(8 December 2020,AOR 29th Dec 2020)? no it wont lead to refusal. They will wait until the medicals can be completed post-delivery of the baby. Xrays are mandatory

Ircc does not need to be updated. If you feel you have a better case to make then you may reapply. Otherwise you may look at applying for Supervisa instead.

@@anyasmiller806 Yes, I did provide bank statement and bank letter both for money in bank. and for money in EPF, i provided one financial year statement with seal and signatures from the Trust maintaining the EPF account. I also provided LOE to explain how do i plan to take out those funds and bring them to Canada when i migrate.
