It’s hard to believe British engineers manufactured these successful toy cars in the London borough of Hackney. So sad developers completely destroyed the original factory, instead of redeveloping it like Battersea power station, which could of incorporated a museum inside the redevelopment to pay homage to Matchbox past. Hackney now, is just for rich folk.
