The power down and vol up button for 15 seconds help me with my LG 55UN69 ,it was running sluggish and slow to command. After doing this ,,it repsoned more quickly with the remote.

Can't access apps (so Hulu and paramount+ not accessible). Tried all 3 of your suggestions and ended up doing the factory reset. Get system error when trying to download terms & conditions agreement (says if I don't accept it, I will have limitations). So assuming this is why I can't access apps. Tried multiple times to download the terms, but keep getting error code. Will not buy an LG tv again. Know it's the tv, because I can access both streaming apps on my laptop and iPhone.

I moved my TV to a new house, and apparently I damaged it somehow. The TV, which is an LG CX 48, shows a single vertical line and then it turns off about two seconds after I turned it on. Nothing seems to be able to reset anything, I can bring up menu or anything.

I htink you can download the previous version of your TV software to a USB and plug the USB into the TV to download the update? Maybe?

My tv picture comes on, stays for about 2 seconds, then goes black again (shuts off). I can’t go to settings. I remember I changed the settings to the energy friendly, so the tv will boot now everything it’s turned on instead of just going to sleep mode (if that makes sense, sorry, I’m not a native speaker). Is there a way to do a hard reset on these TVs? I can’t access the software menu, tried the unplug trick, then the hold power on the tv, then the power plus volume on the remote. It shows the start screen of my PlayStation in the beginning but then shuts off, please help.

I'm no expert in this field, however we had a flashing tv screen on a tv about 10 years old (flashing every two seconds) I didn't know of the soft reset on the remote and the other two options here had no effect. I decided to plug my laptop into the tv via HDMI cable to try and & mirror the tv screen on to it in the hope I could be able to perform a hard reset that way. By the time I had the Screen Mirroring app open on my laptop the tv screen returned to normal! Ran the tv for several hours and turned off & on again several times without problem. I then opted not to go ahead with the hard reset as a process of elimination. Four days later the problem resurfaced and I took the same approach. Soft reset on the tv again no result, laptop plugged in again and within seconds the screen was back to normal operation. From there I did a hard reset and three days later still good. So fingers crossed it is a fix this time! 🤞Hope this may help you.

I spent about 15 minutes trying all of this and it wouldn't work. The TV red light comes on but the screen doesn't power on. Eventually I unplugged it and smacked it on the back right side and volia it's on. The TV has an issue with randomly powering off and on. It's 2008 and needs replacing.

None of these options worked for me. I bought the TV the week before Christmas 2023. It worked GREAT until after I had played some LG Channel music. Now I can't, for the life of me, get cable to work. I still have my cable hooked up to it so I can get used to all these new options before I disconnect cable. But I can no longer get cable to work.
