I found placing rod crafters in the iridium, uranium mines and crafting the rods there really eases drone traffic out to there, then just set the supply from the crafters, keeps the miners cleaned out and running always.

Good idea, but I have a Terra token trading station at the lake shore and IT recquires a constant Uranium transport for quartz production. Drones, aurocrafters and automatic blast offs really speed up the game. Doing everything by hand was such a pain.

Besides the base elements, I would also replace any item that currently uses two or more T1 wall lockers with the T2 storage.

I recommend swapping out all the storages inside your base(mainly the first floor, maybe the second to if you’ve got the patience). Also great video and can’t wait to see more. 😆

Some tips: Swap out unmined iron nodes for wind turbines. You can climb vines to reach high places. Place Living Compartments nearby explorable places and build Food Growers inside and Beacons on top to find them more easily. You can place Area Lamps linearly throughout caverns to use as breadcrumbs to easily find your way out.

Next episode you should automate pulsar quartz manufacturing, it's not much effort to set up and you get 5x the tokens of selling rods (10 tokens per quartz vs 2 per rod).

I suggest using t2 lockers for items that will almost allways have a full t1 locker or one that gets used continuesly like the dump locker. Others can be t1 lockers untill further needed or wanted. :) also thank you for making planet crafter videos again, your planet crafter videos allways bring me joy😄

Chest meteors are kind of insane. I've had 2 so far and amassed around 45k tokens between them. - Not very long after i setup my whole circuit board production setup. T2 storages are extremely nice. - in regards to tokens. New games will probably benefit from this alot more as the random chests around the map & in the various ships & buildings can also spawn with tokens in them. - The drones break like that at times when you manually move a resource they were heading to collect. Requires you loading the save to fix those ones.

Each Drone Station holds 25 Drones. If you have 75 Drones, you need 3 stations to prevent your Drones from getting hung up in a queue. Also, I had the same issue in the Uranium cave. Hopefully they address it at some point.

Z I hope you see this one! Unless you said something about it in another video, you should craft a Construction Menu Filter. It removes all the lower tier machines from your crafting list so you have less things to show on in your crafting list. I feel like there are others to mention, but none to think of right now!

The first thing I used the new T2 storage was on my pulsar quarts production. I used them and got 250 terra points X 5 rockets and it didn't take long for me to clear the list, tho the 25,000 took a few hours. Yes the T2 drones are some movers. I got 200 total drones. 50 T1s and 150 T2. Since then I been upgrading all my storages to T2 it is so worth it.

Regarding food and hives: just set two lockers for beans and honey and setup delivery. ;) Also, having a few T1 hives are better for food production. T2 are useful for larva. It might be a good idea to set T1 next to auto-crafter and not setup supply on them while T2 could be away and supply excess honey into a destructor. Personally, I have two destructors one for honey and one for larva and I just set one of them on auto when I want more of the other resource.

Actually since they each have more then double the storage capacity of a T1, it’s more like 9 times the storage. 😅 It crazy useful and I already switched out all my old T1(though there might be a few I forgot).

Early on I realized the Pulzar Quartz was an easy way to farm Terra Tokens so I set up loads of miners a ton of bots and let it go ham, as soon as I bought the new big room I started rebuilding my base cause NEW BIG ROOM 🤣 had to do it. Now I have a room full of the new storage containers and an auto-crafter churning out pulzar quartz to a couple rockets and nearly every 10 mins I'm making 400 terra tokens, another room has a chest for water, beans and honey and churnes out a new HQ Food every time I eat one, and another room set to churn out bio-nugs for circuit boards. with how cheap the new storage is I thought why not just change it all, it looks better. But new base build is def in your future, I can't see you putting the work in to unlock the new rooms and just settle for adding them to your base, the rooms are too nice for that 😁

I finally got a chest meteor. Got me enough tokens to get the T2 drones. It's a bit of a slog to get rid of your T1 drones and upgrade them to T2. You have to set the de-fabricator or what ever it's called to demand T1 drones, and then deconstruct them one at a time, as you go build T2 drones to keep your drone force at full strength while doing the upgrade. T2 drones are so much faster, and I think they can grab stuff off the ground? I've seen them going to areas on the map that I do not have mines running. As the chest meteor despawns there is a metal ship section inside, so that explains where the chests come from. I thought T2 storage wouldn't be that much use but while trying to automate production of pulsar quartz and circuit boards for tokens they are very useful as a buffer so you can produce as fast as possible to fill the rocket and build resources back up while the rocket is away. To do the same with regular storage you would need 4 of each resource packed in around the autocrafter. You could fill up storage and then manually flip from demand to supply when the rockets come back but then you have to babysit the storage.

I like to have everything at 100%, but don't feel like redesigning my old base, which I worked so hard to build. SO I PLAN TO KEEP MY OLD BASE AS IT WAS AND BUILD A NEW one or NEW FLOOR with the EXTENDED COMPARTMENTS, new lockers, kitchen etc. Think its the more elegant solution.

Regarding uranium: you absolutely want to pick every uranium off the ground and you may want to try to place miners on the walls. These caves are super-hostile to miners. XD Every rock or pillar have huge hotbox which prevents miners anywhere near them. And watch where you pointing that ladder on the miner.

If you're selling uranium and iridium rods, save drone time: set up autocrafters at the mine and supply rods directly. Boom, drone is now 9x more efficient at moving those rods instead of moving raw resources!

Also the fact that T2 lockers are either half or nearly half the size of T1 means a entire room that had been filled with T1 can have nearly 4 times as much stored there. I started off with the Pulsar factory and now I run out of space to store them before the maker runs out of supplies to make Pulsar quartz. I sell Pulsars to get Terra points.

Also, drone T2 is so much faster. Just go ahead and delete every T1 drone you have as soon as you get T2s. They will be holding you back.

The T2 Locker is super worth it... That's a must... I was a little disappointed in the buildings... The 25k dome is exactly like the first biodome, except without the desk & plant columns.... And the non dome one is the same, except no dome... And they don't come together completely, like the 2x2 building... they have a single wide doorway.... So it doesn't feel as spacious as it might.... Unless I'm missing something....

I completely built a new base using: 2 extra large living with 4 farm plots on the roof and auto crafters in the second floor, first floor filled with x large storage for "everything" Super compact and upgraded bots for everything, it is perfect..... Good luck

The storage boxes are nice, however they are a bit deceiving. For base space you are only getting an extra 10 slots as they take up the same space two regular storage occupy.

Nope. I tried. However, you can Supply and Demand items, but not both of the same. Example, if you have Circuit Boards filling up half of your T2 container, and want to set them for Supply. Then, you can set Demand simultaneously to Pulse Quartz, and the locker T2 will reduce the inventory of Circuit boards, and increase the Pulsar Quartz. Hope this helps.
