That sound deadening material they added to the back of the metal sheets is a great idea. I've never seen this before. And the first bent sheet with the steps in it is a nice touch.

I have a white coloured metal roof and it works very well in reflecting heat away from the house in summer, whilst helping to boost my solar power output. Its a much better solution that clay tiles or tarred shingles.

There are these new things called rust converter and inhibitor paints that have been around for about 100 years. Yea, do a search. 🤦

If that is the case then the manufacturer has taken shortcuts. Proper Colorbond steel is metal coated with Zn / Al before being painted and the coating remains adhered when extruded.
