Cids luck literally doesn't help him in any fights. That's just pure skill and power that he worked hard to get. His luck only works in his favor when it comes to organizing shadow garden since literally any random shit he spouts to the members comes true lol. But as in power cid is already the strongest person in the world. He can even defeat Diabolos and that's because of his hard work. Don't down play my guy and say he relies on his luck when he isn't even aware that he has good luck 😂

he just said he relies on luck, which is true. Didn't specify in which category. As anime only i can say that is true from what is shown. Like how he made up story of cult but got lucky. He pinpointed her sister's captured place and he said he missed but got it right. But as for his shadow role, i think most of it is rehearsed? Like speaking while playing piano etc etc.

@@ArthurPrince03 when it came to finding his sister yes his luck did play a factor but that was literally the only time he relied on his luck from what I remember in the novel. the problem is that cids luck has never helped him in any dire situation he is in which is why I said "he doesn't rely on his luck". He could literally handle anything in the world since he is already the strongest being in the series confirmed in the novel. Shadow garden was an offset of his luck as well as them hunting Diabolos but cid himself said that he thinks Diabolos doesn't exist and isnt even trying to hunt them lol so his luck is literally just an extra perk. Shadow garden was created to take down the cult of Diabolos cult and cids goal isn't even to take down the cult since he himself thinks its fake and is just keen on making himself look cool. Even when it comes to money. He literally gets all his money himself. He doesn't even get any money from gammas business. All the money she gets is put back into shadow gardens work. Cid could get money from the business but he thinks he can't because he thinks everything is just a game so he literally gets his money just from the small allowances he gets from his parents and the money he loots from killing bandits and what not. His luck literally doesn't help him in his daily life hence him not relying on it. Even the girls that are in love with him which could be attributed to his luck like cid but he doesn't give two shits about any romantic involvement with them lmao. He even never saw the shadow garden headquarters yet. The headquarters shown at the end of the anime. In the novel he just defeated the dragon that was guarding the mountain and alpha and the others created the base there. They told him the base is located there but he just shrugs it off because as I said, he thinks everything is a game lol.

There is a video of Eminence in shadow gameplay that youtube recommended to me. In that video, Alpha said if she and cid start dating, other member may not be happy with it. Maybe that's a reason why she don't show obvious affection toward Cid like other and make audience mistake about her feeling

The whole eminence in shadow shenanigans is what keeps him stay away from going full psychopath since he will break the character and will become a villain instead of shadow.... This is pretty much evident when shadow uses the 'atomic' on midgar and would have almost killed everyone there if not for it going against his shadow character

Every time Sid disappoints her by jilting her to go on vacation together at his parents' house, it seems as if she is a nagging wife who wants to violently complain to her husband as if he were a forgotten anniversary date or as if she were a possessive girlfriend. which even goes to drastic limits such as chaining him around the neck with magic.

She love cid and she pretend as his wife in lone time like removing her shoes physical contacts, seducing etc. (Alpha is most cunning in love in shadow garden) Facts #36 People comparing it with aurora cause they denied SHADOW's truw power but shadow is far stronger than aurora. She stated herself that even in her full potential she cannot defeat him. Hero Oliver who was able to cut down Diablos hand , cid fought with 1000 of Oliver in single time.

I am not disagreeing with Cid being above Aurora but I am simply adding more context.

@@nabinoorshahil2715 cid still bodied a demon king that ruled over another dimension with ease as in it took him like one or two attacks to kill it. This demon king was stated in having just as much magical power as Diabolos but didn't have as much control over it as Diabolos did but nonetheless, cid still bodied it with minimal effort. There's literally no one in the story who could beat him. Also the hero Olivier had her full power when she fought cid. She just didn't have her memories and was an empty husk. Aurora didn't have her full power because she only manifested from a single part of her original body which was split into different parts and locked away. Aurora was just a manifestation of one of her body parts which is why she wasn't at full power. Olivier wasn't sealed away like aurora was. She died with her full body intact so her summoning summoned her full body. Auroras only summoned the manifestation of the part of her body which was sealed near Midgar which was her arm from what I remember.

For example if we take 1 copy Oliver= 1 hero who fought with Oliver. Shadow destroyed all of them. You forget aurora isn't good in hand to hand or close combat, she's middle range fighter, in the other hand cid is all rounder. Aurora nothing in front of cid, her demonic petsona diablos maybe stood chance but i totally loose hopes when i see that Cid defeated Ragnarok, the almighty King of 4th realm I'm not even believing that diablos stood chance.

In general. In the novel he literally one shots a demon king from another universe called Ragnarok. That demon king was stated to be as powerful as Diabolos but it didn't have proper control over it's magic like Diabolos did but nonetheless, cid still bodied it with a single attack lol 😂. He is already the strongest person in the world.

Additional facts:(from the webnovel) 1) in Cid's past life(Minoru Kageno) he called himself the "Stylish Bad guy Slayer". He stated this while confronting Akane Nishino's kidnappers. 2) in his past life, he uses a crowbar as a weapon. He goes at night and tested "its true potential" by bashing it to biker gangs. 3) His costume in his past life consists of a black ski mask, black sweatpants, black hoodie, and black work boots. 4) The incidents involving the bashing of biker gangs during nighttime gained him an alias as the "Ski mask berserker". 5) in his younger days as Cid Kagenou, he introduced himself as the "Stylish Thief Slayer" to the young Rose Oriana after slaying the bandits who kidnapped her. 6) it was Cid/Stylish Thief Slayer's swordsmanship that influenced Rose on taking the path of swords instead of mastering a specific art.

In all honesty if they can do right by Eminence in Shadow it could be amazing, his power scaling is too perverse for the rest, altho been challenged but that’s about it, but they could expand world wide and then what they thought was only a dark organisation on earth turns out to be intergalactic, i mean why keep it small if it has that kind of potential, of course still keep it to the original idea of “remain in the shadows to take down the shadows” just more expansion plus it’ll allow for some epic in space battles of going out full force i mean i can’t be the only one who see’s such potential. Of course this oblivious misunderstanding trope can’t remain forever I ain’t read the manga but eventually he does connect the dots and realises he ain’t fighting fake organisations right?….. because he seems the only one oblivious
