I have one that sits on a dead branch near my porch eating bugs. I love it!

That's cool. My neighborhood seems to be at the tipping point of their habitat preference, the number of trees is low enough for them to squint at it lol.

Thank you for the great video. I have a nest of some sort of flycatcher right outside my patio. The parents are always standing guard on one of the nearby railings or tables. I'm leaning towards them being eastern phoebes, but every time I start looking at pictures of flycatchers, I start to doubt myself lol. They flick their tails a lot and have built their nest right up against the home and have used it for multiple seasons, so I'm thinking they're eastern phoebes. Thanks again for all the info! Edit: Oh and no wing flicking at all, just lots of tail flicking, so maybe phoebes :D

That's awesome! I have seen videos of phoebes being very friendly with people, even landing on their hand in some cases haha
