As an American this is my dream hunt. It is on my bucket list. The European flavor and style are not had anywhere else.

As an American deer hunter I love these videos and am impressed by their skill and even though I have no clue what they are saying I love the German language.

What an incredible episode! The way the video delves into the complexities and traditions of wild boar hunting across Europe is truly fascinating. It’s not just about the hunt itself, but also the rich history, ethics, and camaraderie that come with it. The detailed insights into the growing wild boar populations and the precision needed in driven hunts were eye-opening. Kudos to MyOutdoorTV for showcasing this unique blend of adventure and tradition in such a captivating way!

Similar to the Aimpoint videos a few years ago and may still be going on. Some really awesome riflemen get invited to these driven hunts. Mostly the elite Europeans and product suppliers seem to appear on these vids. Princes and dukes and other " upper elite" are included in the circle it seems. Mostly fine custom rifles are used also. It's great entertainment watching these people. Some women appear and are excellent shots. Again people in the industry or from elite families including the ladies. Lots of ceremonies go with these hunts. Including fine dining etc. One thing you will NEVER EVER see is the shooters in the barns helping clean and process the game. Thinking that may be beneath their " station" in life????

I get your point, and you make a great one. But Wild Boar Fever is simply just SHOOTING. Not the hunting part, where we see everything from the shot, to the freezer. Think of it as a big ad placement, they show of new rifles, new Härkila clothing and so on. Basically just a glorified product placement segment with great shooters.

It was not a mama , it was a Überläufer Keiler 😉

@@rafa980543375 If you play slowly the movie, you will be able to see the freshlings right after the shoot. Camera is moving very fast from that part. Definetly it was not a Keiler ;)

@@rave3nsal You're right, after the pig is killed, something else comes out of the thicket. But you don't see what it is. At min 23:18 you can see that the pig has a maximum of 40-50 kg. You can also see that it has no teats. Therefore, it cannot be a Bache with Piglets, nor can it be a leading Bache in terms of size and weight. It's a Überläufer Bache or Keiler in my eyes. 😃

@@rafa980543375 Correct. You're right. It was just an assumption that the pig is the leading mama, because usually when they record a wild boar shooting scene, they keep recording the scene, until the boar is down (3-5-10) seconds after the shoots, but not in this case. Maybe you right, and it was just a small one (50kg).

Every one has his preferred hunting but imo we should respect all kind of hunting : we have enough detractors so, no need for otheradditional “at home “ unlike some people are thinking, there are rules on these driven hunt and the boars population has to be regulated. Regarding hunting image whatever we do the “anti hunt” will find arguments and they are blind and deaf and to stupid for any discussion… Weidmannsheil
