The Roland MKS-20 Expander, which is so essential to Elton‘s signature sound remains unmentioned🤷🏼‍♂️. Does Elton even use the real sound of the acoustic piano? I guess it is a blend of a Yamaha CFX sample and the MKS20 Module…🎹

No Elton uses a Roland MKS-20 and a Yamaha Motif Rack.

Not giving much away is he………look at the body language. By the way it’s an MKS 20 and the original Motif module (power grand setting). EJ’s kbd tech told me this years ago (without folding his arms).
