I would travel to neighboring countries in the EU and I was amazed how the average American tourist would get so frustrated that noone spoke English in Italy, Beligium, France etc... Then call the locals stupid for not speaking English their home country, yet the average european can speak the languages of their neighboring countries. A average American can only speak English. @@BigSteelThrill Chapman University can only fire that professor if he is arrested for a crime, or gets disbarred for some legal reason. What the other professors wrote in their letter has no bearing. The professor did not do anything illegal, nor is he getting disbarred anytime soon. For the students at the university who are voicing their concerns, they really should read up on Brandenburg v. Ohio and learn something they should have learned in high school.
