Preciate it my dude. Yea trying to fade too many jeans at once would drive me insane. One for work, one for casual wear, and wear em til I’m satisfied with the fades or they’re falling apart. Iron hearts and most pure blue japans are definitely worth the money. I say most because they’re most expensive jeans won’t give you those electric blue fades and that’s what I’m here for. So yea man I say do it and wear the shit out of em.

I agree, the camera doesn’t do justice to Iron Heart denim at all. Makes it look way lighter and reduces the contrast. Killer pair. I picked up the IH overdye work jacket last spring, 🔥🔥🔥

Great fades, you could have adjusted the way you do your turn ups every so often to slow the blow out. Oh and clean out the dust on the inside if you didn't. That RGT shirt looks amazing. Got me really tempted to get one.

Yo I know I’m late af but was wondering what the sizing is like on these? Looking at measurements online but the higher rise is throwing me off. Did you size down at all, and if so, was it 1 or 2 sizes down?

I didn’t downsize at all. IHs are sanforized (majority of them) so there won’t be any drastic stretching or shrinking after the wash. I know that the rise on my 555s is a lot more comfortable than the rise on my pbjs or onis.

Hey. Live the tonal stitching. What models do I look for with IH to get that?

I think they have them in all of their cuts. In the 555 cut, I believe the only ones with tonal would be the pair that I have…555-01. You’d have to look at the other cuts on the website but if you don’t see the lighter stitching on the pocket or if the jeans aren’t black, chances are it would be tonal stitching. I don’t think they make any with no stitching at all so yea just check the website out and flip through the model pics.

Aw yea dude nudies are known for their beautiful fades. I love the way my nudies fade…one of the sanforized brands I’d still rock for sure. If you want nice contrasting fades, wear them as long as possible without washing, then soak them in cold water with a detergent made for dark fabrics. You’ll be golden

Never on sanforized denim. I like the shine as it breaks in. But if I buy a no wash unsanforized pair, then yes I soak. I’ve done that for some of my pbjs and my onis but none of my iron hearts.

Iron hearts are solid though so no need to “tighten the threads” lol idk if you’ve seen some of my latest vids but I post my other IHs that I work in…trust me bro, they’ll last And you said your first pair so I doubt you plan on destroying them like me. You’re definitely fine. Don’t soak them.

Really feeling your reviews I just bought a Rouge Territory Work Shirt in indigo. Home to get the fades you got. I’m currently using a Gustin 101 Denim Shirt. Not really getting the fades I want. Also I have a pair of Unbranded UB401 had them for about 2 1/2 months wearing them every day. However I’m still not seeing any fades do you think I should soak them?

I appreciate it dude! The last thing you wanna do when you’re not seeing the fades you want is to wash them in my opinion. Washing them now would give a more uniform look and it takes longer to get what you’re looking for. Others might think differently but this is from my experience. If you’re going for high contrast fades, it’s best to keep wearing them even if you’re not seeing the progress. I’d suggest wearing them more often or even throwing in some type of activity while you’re wearing them. I used to bike in my jeans and I even slept in my first pair for over a yr. If you’re serious about it, lay on your back and move as if you were riding a bike or bend your knees back and forth for as long as you can stand it. Squats would work but it’s much easier to do it laying down. 2.5 months wouldn’t get you the fades you’re looking for unless you were literally beating the shit out of em. I realized it’s a journey and you can’t really rush it even when you’re wearing them everyday. If you get the urge to wash, go ahead and then when you see the results, you’ll know for your next pair if you want to go that route again. I never want to come off as if my way is the right way, so that’s why I said you may wanna give it a shot if you’re really antsy. If you feel like you ruined the jeans (by your standards), then you definitely won’t do it again lol. Hope this helps.

And as far as the rgt shirt, I haven’t found one that was washed/soaked and still looked nice to me. They all look pretty dingy, so I plan on keeping it dry and I’ll give my Iron Heart shirt a soak after a yr or so. Same thing with the shirts tho. Bend your arms back and forth. Raise your arms, stretch in them, and instead of washing them, use a spray bottle w/ water on the high stress areas…the honeycombs, the stacks, even the whiskers. Don’t soak it but get it nice and damp. That’ll help with the fades without completely “washing” it. Do that with the jeans and shirts.
