Fading Steps:
-De bulk with #1.5
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 2 & 3 guard blend up
- Blend out top guideline w/ 1.5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open to 3 qtr
- Blend first guideline w lever open a bit, then halfway, then 3/4, then all the way.
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

@@autochthonous5601 I took a class and after cutting afro hair and trying different techniques I can do a decent fade, but most customers are in a hurry and don't really care about a perfect fade. It took me a long time, trying different blades and grates.. but in the end it's about the hair plantation too..

The one request I have for you videos is to if possible highlight the different panels in-between creating them and removing them. Also a video about all the different names for different fades with examples ie. drop fade burst fade tapper fade crunch fade ect. ect. A good fade will take any where from 40 minutes to an hour easy. That's the best way is to take your time. If they can't wait, I tell them to sit somewhere ells. The ones I use are in description brotha even if your starting out I wouldn’t recommend going too too cheap as that can make the process harder than it needs to be. & we don’t have a dedicated video for just straight razor but all our videos have us shaving at the end different line ups, beards etc we throw in different tips on each one
