Chris Bossio by far is the most relatable barber, social media has everyone thinking that all haircuts in the shop come out looking photoshoped when the reality is a lot of clients are relatively like this cut, most cuts walking in aren't the most perfect canvas and not everyone wants enhancements. You do your best to make clients happy and look good because thats our name on that work walking out the door...Good stuff 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I did a cut like this at the last shop I worked and I felt so bad. I swear it came out very similar to this one and I felt all the other barbers crap on me for it. I knew from the work I had put into it that it was as faded as it should be for the desired look. Client was very happy and followed me to the new shop, but I knew I had lost credibility with those guys from their own standards or what not. I’m doing much better now and this video was a huge a inspiration. Well done my friend!

Honestly this is a good cut to show because I find most people don't get bald fades because they like to have some hair on the sides. It also depends on the location as I usually see a lot of bald fades in hotter weather places.

Barbers if you do that skimming technique with the grain on the ridge make sure all the hair grows the same direction. You can patch a spot if it waves or swirls some.

everytime i ask a barber for this, they take out all the bulk and make the sides tight to head...more barbers need to understand that some people want longer blended sides like this. i'm currently sitting at home "looking like an egg" lol.

Good but i think you should've stretched the blend out a bit more.. it's seemed a bit too compressed
@kratu66252 жыл бұрын
nah if the client wants to leave weight around parietal ridge then you gotta leave room to blend, bossio did fine here.
@BiglariProductions2 жыл бұрын
@@kratu6625 nah it would've been better a tiny bit more spread out.. Way to much weight
@kratu66252 жыл бұрын
@@BiglariProductions he did that for shape, some clients heads curve inwards before the parietal ridge so it’s been intentionally left with weight there, at bossios level you don’t do things by accident he left the weight there in purpose

Honestly….. most of the time when people ask me for a #1 fade or shadow fade, I use the oster 1. Which is pretty much a half. I just do that because I feel like cutting it slightly closer helps me to achieve that gradient a lot more dramatically. I’ve never had anyone complain. It’s always exactly what they wanted 😅🤷🏽♂️

My babyliss FX lever doesn't lock into place and the bottom blade moves if pressed against the head. Is that why you keep your finger on the blade? It really pisses me off that these expensive clippers have a big flaw like that.
