As a new baby witch it's nice to see other black girls (especially those in kawaii fashion) in witchcraft. It's made me feel a lot less alone. Thank you so much for this video!

Hi Mint. Question. I started watching your channel around 2 months ago and I went down that rabbit hole consuming video after video. I haven't really seen Faries since I was younger until recently. (I am sure my eyes were opened because I was more aware after your content) I noticed the eyes in the trees and then we had mushrooms in the yard (normal) until I noticed that they were starting to encircle the house. There were breaks in between sections but literally it seemed to be happening. I verified with my husband and he confirmed. During that time I caught a few glimpses in the house but no definite type. One was really close to me in the kitchen but moved so fast. Do they use small animals to get around? Oh.... I went to the thrift shop and pretty much bought everything to set up an alter for them. When I checked out I realized what I had done. I would like to work with them. Apparently, they are up for it. Which book should I start with. I am in Maryland if that matters. Thank you 💚💙💜

could you do a video on the basics of working with the fae? there's so many mixed signals on it, like whether the fae are dangerous and you should avoid them and never accept gifts, but other people saying the direct opposite. its just hard to navigate lol

I found "The Modern Witchcraft Guide To Faeries" at Five Below, of all places, when I was actually looking at tee shirts. I bought the book instead. "A Complete Guide To Faeries and Magickal Beings" I found at a local shop called A Touch Of Magick - when I wasn't even looking for that one, either. A lot of good books on faeries I just found completely randomly.

Thank you so much for posting this! I’m writing this all down this morning and strangely was on Amazon last night for about two hours consuming samples of ebooks on the Fae for the first time. There are two you didn’t mention but would really like I’d bet.. “Cherokee Little People” and “Cherokee Little People Were Real” (..Were?!!) Two different authors. This branch (?) of the Fae are (not Were) so incredibly kind and helpful. The Elderly, children and the disabled especially seem to have visitors the most often. They become like family and are deeply loved. Looking forward to the next video (and the next and the next..) 💚🍀💚

Hey mint , happy to stumble on your channel. It’s not a coincidence. As am getting older am becoming closer to nature and I have been having the strangest connections with Foxes they get really close and seem to communicate with me . And I see them often when am going through something challenging . Or need comfort , too the point my daughter gave me the name foxy fairy😁 it was like Alarm bells were ringing in my head when she would call me that name I started to do more research and questioning my very being . I like magic I strive better in nature areas I connect with woodland creatures playful and full of mysteries . I think am a Huldra 😩 . I got it off my chest now😅

For a total newbie, and beginner to this whole beautiful nature based spiritual journey, have you ever used hagstones in your practice? I live in a seaside village and have only found a handful of them growing up, but always felt something strong and mystical whenever I would find one. This summer? I am not joking when when I say I have literally found HUNDREDS. Possibly a smack in the face from the universe telling me to wake up and notice stuff. 😅

Tip before working with the fae: Do LOTS OF RESEARCH, I’ve heard of people who accidentally made the fae very angry and something bad happened to them. For many it takes years of research, be safe! Also, learn basic witchcraft things like how to repel evil spirits, how to make sigils, protection, and how to remove curses, hexes, and jinxes.

Thank you so much for the book recommendations! I'm always looking forward to learning about the fay for numerous reasons and love to know more book suggestions, especially from people who actually work with them. The one I recently started on is The Encyclopedia of Fairies in World Folklore and Mythology by Theresa Bane (although that's less about working with fay and more for story writing, but I'm fairly certain the two overlap whether I want them to or not, haha). Cassandra Eason's book holds a really special place in my heart because it was the book that led me to discover my mom threw out my witchcraft belongings that was in storage without telling me (back in 2016) and lead me to take my path a lot more seriously. It's a really great book! (P.S. I don't think you ever linked to the fairy society in the description box.)

I just listened to your interview on Spiritual Sh*t and came straight over! I have been so busy working on my tarot/astrology/Spirit stuff I somehow forgot all about fairies! I agree; if angels are real, why not fairies?? I am excited to delve into some of these books 📚...I used to see them when I was little, too, and I was terrified of the winged ones, especially at night. Feeling so validated now. Thank you for your passion on this topic; your magic is so inspiring 🥰✨
