Fahaka Puffer Care/Plus a Live Feeding

I just got my first Fahaka eight weeks ago. He was 4 inches and looks like he has grown an inch so far. I have him in a 29 and the next move is a 75. I also have a 125 that may be available when he is bigger. I also feed snails, krill and bloodworms. Unable to find crayfish in my area. We named him Fahaka "YOU". (That's my husband's sense of humor)

I bought one 4 days ago, I have him in a 29 gallon, once he reaches 8 inches or so he'll be going into my 120 gallon

I’ve been lucky with my 2 sets of 3 n a 180 … 1st set are 8-10 inches with Minimal aggression .. been together since about 1 inch … also have 2 rubber lips and 13 giant danios 2nd set n a 180 also all around 4 inches no problems yet

Good luck, I love my puffers too. I keep mine with other fish in a 600. Only agression I ever see is when the males try to breed with the females

I just stumbled upon these guys at a large predatory fish shop in China, out of curiosity, how much did bruce cost you? Assuming you are in the states. These are $4 for a good 4" specimen over here

He is a lone wolf. I have put a large bristle nose with him and it lasted 2 days. I haven’t tried anything else.

Good Video. Except the "easy part". 😉 They are if you know what you are doing. But for anyone? No. Water Quality is probably number 1 reason why people kill them. And be careful with live crayfish. They can carry parasites. Sorry. I should not make a boring comment like this. 😄
