1. Don't go for the mtech! It's an M3! 2. The sound on this car is AWESOME as it is, it's quiet inside the car because of all that isolation, and that's the difference with the e36 being louder.. so keep the stock muffler, and you can buy that plastic between the pipes.. 3. Better go for a better intake.. it will do the job

cutting the muffler open and cut out some of the baffles inside might be a reasonably cheap option that will still look good, and sound more aggressive.

PLEASE get the ,,Agency Power Exhaust System". It is by far the best sounding system there is, so many exhausts are just crazy loud but sound sooo bad (just like straight pipes for this car)

naa magnaflow is subpar compared to the european brands. i would go with supersprint or racing dynamics.

I think you should keep the current rear-bumper setup and put a 332ci or 332si badge (it would have to be made yourself probably) to make other drivers curious as it is a half M3 (engine+drivetrain+subframe+diff wise) and half 3 series coupe (body shell, and body panel wise). Also do you like the 'rasp' you find in these S54 powered M cars? Personally I don't so if you were like me, i'd look into getting a rasp-pipe aka rasp terminator as part of your exhaust setup. But to each, their own!

I would start with better headers, this modification also improves sound and throttle response. You can go catless or sports cats, depends on a law in your state. After headers, I would change a muffler, if you will still not be happy.

Hei. It would be realy cool too change the exhaust to something like an uppgraded 330i exhaust or something like that, if it fits on to the first part of the exhaust ofc.. Can Imagine that the car would be more like a sleeper since no one would guess a s54 under the hood with a single pipe in the back. But like i wrote on a previous video, stiching your steering wheel with some fresh leather would do the trick when it comes to the look of your interior. Did it to my E46 320d and it transformed the feel of the car by 80%, not performance vise ofc. but the look and komfort. Btw. the steering wheel is one of the parts who gets moust atantion by the driver so IT is an overall good mod. Sorry for my bad writing 😂 im sure there are 100's of wrong writen words in this text. Hope it is understandable 😂😂 would be easyer to write in Norwegian.

save your money and spend it on a good m3 muffler. You got an m3 engine why dont you keep the m3 look? if you put normal e46 parts on it nobody would realise that it has 343 hp. My opinion. Great car!
