These elevators provide access to the rooms and suites of the Waldorf Astoria hotel on floors 27-50, as well as the serviced apartments on the portion of floors 51 and above, of the eastern section of Burj Daman's taller 59-floor block that interlocked with the shorter 19-floor office block from the sky lobby on the 18th floor of the latter, as well as the hotel's administration offices one floor below. Due to the taller floor-to-ceiling heights of the shorter block compared to the taller block (which mostly consisted of apartments up to the 25th floor), the 18th-floor skylobby on the top level of the office block was located right under the 26th floor of the high-rise block; as the floor numbering followed that of the high-rise block from then, there was actually only one floor (26) between the sky lobby and the 27th and first guest floor, which was not served due to it being an intermediate mechanical level (and technically the bulkhead of the office block). They had the same fixtures and similar cab interiors as the shuttle elevators, though the cabs were a bit narrower. Judging by the number of floors they served, they had to go at least the same speed or maybe even faster than the shuttle elevators, though whether that was the case could not be found out as all of the floors except the sky lobby were restricted.
