I feel that if the cockpit is gone you should stop controlling the vehicle, or at least keep the same actions the plane was being plane was being piloted with just before the cockpit was lost. Like if the pilot was flying to the right when the cockpit was lost, keep it going to the right.

I checked it on steam and its only saying about medieval stuff like knights, castles and more. Nothing about planes.
