I commented on this today in the Fbk group. Writing Patient Assessments are a creative way to study with others...you are creating a puzzle for someone else to solve and learning how to build/design the "puzzle" is studying...and while giving the PA scenario you will constantly be thinking about the topic & without realizing it you will expand the amount of information you can recall during test time. I have ADD & the alpha waves work (along with noise-canceling headphones)!! I have the volume as low as possible (literally 1 step above silence)..this usually occupies the part of the brain that has the random thoughts. "Don't rush" is also great advice...not always, but sometimes answer (A) is correct, but answer (C) or (D) is more correct. I passed on the 1st attempt in 2004 & 2022, but I studied based on the concept of saving lives, not passing a test.

Definitely will be watching more videos and getting your study guide videos ! this gave me the confidence to get back into studying and taking the nremt. I took it for the 2nd time in Dec. 2022 and failed it and now I realize that I was rushing and studying in a way that wasn’t helping me. all I need to do now is figure out a study plan that works for me, thank you for videos !

It tested once and failed. I have held back due to fear of failure, which definitely was dumb of me but you hit the nail perfect with each point in the video. - all I did was practice tests -ADHD is a huge issue of mine to where I have to reread like 3 times just to finally understand the question. - I tried to “take my time” but I did rush. I’m going to continue with the video vault I purchased and I do believe this next attempt I will have a different outcome.

I failed twice so far and been studying a lot but don’t feel confident. I feel like everything I learn is not on the test. I’ll know exactly what the answer is but all the answers will be stuff I’ve never seen before

I failed for the 3rd time today after studying with 5 different things. It’s honestly draining getting beat down so much from a stupid test. I put in over 10 hours a week for 1.5 months for studying.

I just failed my 2nd attempt. It serious is draining and beats you down so much. Especially after studying so hard. Too much stress and pressure for a test. I believe we can do it though. Don’t give up!!

I feel like for me Mr. coach, A lot of NREMT material and study prep that I went over was not questioned or formatted the same way on the test. Because of this there were terms I haven’t seen before or when I think I know the answer it’s not there. I wish there was a NREMT study prep that was more based on the actual NREMT

I failed my nremt i felt very discouraged. I had studied extremely hard. I had As in both semesters of my course and passed all of my skills tests. I went in to test i felt confident and not nervous. I didnt feel like i rushed i got nervous after 80 questions and i got to 124 questions. I walked out feeling discouraged and in fact i had failed. What did i do wrong. I was near passing in abc's and above in trauma and obgyn and near passing in the other 2 fields.

Any tips for how the structure of the nremt is now that had me confused when I got the scenario based questions and that one scenario had three questions to it had me dragging boxes on certain questions it was for the aemt but it was way different from when I took my emt b in 2019

Hey Even, I have a question about you EMT masterclass. I already have passed my NREMT, Matter of fact i've been certified as an EMT for about 3 years now got it in October of 2019, But have not actually began practicing untill recently last year. I feel my knowledge has faded would you emt masterclass be a good option for someone who has been out of the game and is looking to freshen up their knowledge?

Yes, I have a ton of clinical tips and mnemonics to help you with actual patient care in the video vault. I recommend you get the lifetime access here: www.prepareforems.com Once you log in, there is actually an entire study plan around "I'm a certified EMT, what do I do now?"
