Its not a manufacturing fault. All the AGS owners should know that its actually a manual transmission where shifting is controlled by the Actuator. In Manual Transmission, you put the car in Neutral when idle so you should do the same for AGS. You are putting undue wear on Clutch and Pressure Plates by keeping the car in D while idle. People who shift to Neutral when they are at red light or stopped never have clutch related issues. Although its an Automatic Car but underneath its Manual so please drive like manual car by putting it into Neutral when stopped. It wont cause you any issue even after 100,000 KM.

I have discussed it with many people. On mountains you have to and should use trip tonic and not all the transmissions fail or are faulty. But there are many people who are facing this problem

You are absolutely right dear. I faced this problem at 40k kms and claimed the warranty from pak suzuki. Now after driving 85k same problem is appearing and now i have to spent about 65 thousands plus for mechanical work because now my AGS isn't under warranty. Very annoying 😒.

drive it like a manual, shift to N when in traffic or stop light, whether you like it or not, it's a manual without a clutch pedal. when in manual mode shift when you reach 2000 ram, it will give you no problem at all.

Please just one clarification. AGS ain't a obsolete technology. There maybe problems in AGS but in India most of the new budget cars are AGS. Its the fault of Suzuki Pakistan to get substandard pressure plates. Quality of Pak Suzuki is terrible.

I have been using this car for about a year now but Alhamdolilah faced no such issue till date. I have driven from khi till north bt no issues. Odo is 25k. So don't blame ags problem is you should know how to drive...

I started driving this way when I got my pressure plate changed for the first time. Suzuki never asked me how to drive AGS, i learnt it through youtube. But the point is that it malfunctioned again even driving it properly

@@MaqaamTravel Mein ny new Cultus li aur within 1 month e sell kr di aur Picanto Automatic lay kr sakoon mein hon. Tub mujhe achey paisey b mil gaye selling py aur mein yeh fazool sy Cultus AGS wali problem sy b nikaal gya. Picanto ki quality awesome hai, full mazza ata hai drive ka. Solid automatic car hai without any problems bus lo aur enjoy karo 3-4 years.

No he is right.AGS problematic hai in between every 10-20K milage coz luck sabki different hai.achi luck ho b na to 20K he hogi then you have to deal with it, sorry to say, like a pregnant women.
