Hello , This is to inform you that I failed in CMA first attempt part 2. One day before the exam, There were. Name mismatched as per my passport, thus, probetric centre persons were not allowing me to take the exam. Then I emailed to cma help desk and continually followed up after that I received an email that they have changed my name on database but they did not give the guarantee that probetric centre will allow me to sit in the exam. In that unforseen circumstances I was completely stressed whole night and day before the exam. When I reached the probetric centre earlier before start the exam, after one hour they said that they have received an email that I can take the exam. I was happy but after sat in the exam I was not feeling well and went to washroom again and again and my one hour already wasted and gor nerveous. Otherwise If everything would have been well then I definitely cleared this exam. Now I have decided to take exam in Jan Feb window but I am confused where to start. Kindly guide me and if possible please do let me know regarding the coach in reasonable fee which i can afford. Thanks to in advance.I really need a help and motivation.

Hey Nathan, I'm going to give my part 1 exam for the third time in October and I'm already fed-up with the process. The first time I did pretty well but the second time the questions was really hard and I ended up received unsatisfactory grade for all of the topics. I have online class now.. I have almost all the materials I need. But I didn't know where to start.. now I'm studying the budgeting section.. I'm taking it slow as possible.. I'm trying but the fear of failure is kicking me so hard. It's been a year that I've started to prepare for CMA exam. Even though I passed part 2 this part is getting complex everytime I prepare for it. I just don't wanna fail again..

Hi Nathan, I am here watching your video even if I haven't taken the exam yet. I think hearing what previous takers found difficult in the exam really helps me find the right technique. Very long problems to be exact really scares me and makes me auto-skip a question. Btw, I'm planning to take Sep/Oct window this year part 1. However I'm a bit reluctant hearing that schedules tend to move around and get cancelled so many candidates find it hard to re-book Would you recommend I take the risk and book my exam soon or should I wait till things settle...which idk when 😂
@Cmacoach4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mika, those long questions can feel intimidating. But the more you do them the easier they'll get. Practice makes perfect :) If you'll be ready for your exam during the Sep/Oct window, then it's fine to book it. If it gets cancelled, you won't have to repay the exam registration. The upside is if it doesn't get canceled you'll have an opportunity to take the exam before year end.

Take a practice exam on the topic of Budgeting and review the answer explanations to learn how the answer was calculated and the reasons behind it. I think this will connect the dots for you.
