I used to believe I was a great essay writer, in fact, I thoroughly enjoyed writing. I'm an accounting major so my comprehension and analysis is pretty black and white. I have a very closed interpretation just because of the fact that I've been completely reliant on that skill so far in my studies (I'm pursuing my Bachelors in Accounting). I decided to spice things up last semester and take a Philosophy class to help me think about things more "openly". I ended up not passing a single essay in the class, yikes. Never had a problem with essays previous to that class. I'm still deciding whether or not I want to get my CPA or CMA, but first I have to make sure I can get my Bachelors and Masters haha.
@Cmacoach4 жыл бұрын
Hey Carter, Don't sweat it. An essay exam from a philosophy class vs the CMA is quite different I'm sure. But as with any skill, consistent practice is key. I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. I say that because in your test prep you'll have a test bank with essay practice questions.
