Tan Bam that was a WIN, not a Fail. Let’s shift your perspective 180…..if you had found a spot on the beach and commenced locked down mode, you would have still fallen asleep only to wake up and feel the van bobbing up and down in the waves. We’ll just say nap time turned to high tide and not stir up any haters by saying that global warming and sea-level rise lifted you off the beach and started you drifting to Nantucket. Salt water and metal vans are a bad combo, so by booking in at the HH-location was a good move. Then there’s beach sand in the van and places you never even knew you had spaces. See, you actually WIN. Then when you consider that nap time also saved you from cooking up that McD’s chick-something, you still have your 5-Star VanChef rep intact. I was worried ‘archeologist mode’ was gonna turn into a beachside BBQ. That’s a double Win. I did try to google-up NatGeo to see what that sea monster was. They suggested a mola mola, which sounded more like a name for those chips, then you opened the bar and by then I was cracking up. Now can we talk about the ‘plans that didn't go as planned’ rant. Wack a smile on your mush and get on with it. See above, you had a WIN. And can we talk about another awesome vid - you got skills - great cam shots, cool edit, a natural at storytelling and onscreen persona, hell even 9/10 for the ‘fit. Need more, you didn’t fly the drone out 2 miles offshore and have it suddenly become a submarine. See it’s a W-W-W, no F here. For your next beach-side episode, how about you drop a message in a bottle and toss it out to sea. What do you wanna tell people over on the other side. Where would you want that bottle to wash up. Wherever it lands, that could be the starting point for next year’s P2 Adventures - International Edition. Oh, and be sure to tell them to ‘like and subscribe’. When you hit 50/50, when it’s all said and done - will you have said more then you’ve done, or done more than you’ve said? I’m betting you’ll have done more than you ever dreamed possible. Very true the tide might have caught me in the middle of the night! Did you come up with the name Tan Bam?? Or was it in a video because that's what a lot of my buddies call me back home🤣 The mystery might be solved, the mola mola looks about right. Just came across your channel and have subscribed. Do you ever get lonely traveling by yourself? Just wondering if full time van life would suit me. Thanks for sharing your adventures and looking forward to coming for the ride.

Thanks for the sub and kind words! I have my ups and downs but I’m really not as lonely as I thought I’d be since I FaceTime and call friends and family very often and meet people on the road. I have a mini series I just got done filming that is less adventure and more real van life so hopefully that can help you decide if van life is for you or not. It should be edited and released before Christmas:)

hey man I was looking into buying this exact rig for full time of Van life, how has it held up for you and how is the quality

I ended up having to do quite a bit of fixing from battery stuff to water system work, but that could’ve been partly due to the previous owners not knowing how to use the van. The trim quality is also pretty rough and I’ve fixed quite a few little things cosmetic wise. I hear all vans are about like that though and this one has everything you need to live comfortably so it’s a good option. I have a van tour video where I go a bit deeper if you want to check that out
