Failing Phantom Liberty Before It Starts

Spoilers for the start of Phantom Liberty sorta.
A cautionary tale of what happens if you ignore your quests. It is possible to fail the whole expansion if you don't move the quest once you start it.

Thankfully you can travel in and out of dogtown after progressing thru the DLC, but I do think it's silly that you HAVE to go to songbird as soon as she calls you or else you just lock yourself out of the whole expansion. Most people who spent the cash on the DLC will probably jump straight into it but this still seems like a silly oversight.

You don't, I think this only happens if you start the quest but then do something else. I got the quest early but wanted to finish the game the normal way with 2.0 first and I could still do Phantom Liberty normally.

You literally have to drive up to dogtown by yourself to start it though lol
