I see what you mean Kyoudai. But let's remember that Neither Group is probably going all out fully (or alternatively they do but it just ends as a draw as always :) ). Also Kiryus squadmates are also not ordinary people. Each have fighting experience and knowledge so i think its fine to say they could hold their own. Evidence of this is how at the end of the fight both groups are out of it and exhausted. :)but yea OUR LEGENDS ARE STRONG lol.

Saejima punch being disrupted isn't that unbelievable either because it wasn't stopped by force by seonhee. She just made him stop the punch in the middle

I kinda think it doesn't make sense, he is no longer a yakua or around people whom he needs to act crazy around, everyone already knows him closely, such as Kiryu , Taiga and Daigo

people say they hold their own, but that’s honestly not true. all they do is block or intercept the attacks, and the tojo trio easily blocks and evades the party’s retaliation attacks.

The only advantage they have here is their youth aside from Kiryu. Everybody in the group here isn't above their late 30s. (Edit: Nanba is in mid 40s) And in the Yakuza universe, you stay in your physical prime till like 55. Oh and the holding back thing.

The party defending Kiryu happens regardless of if you succeed or fail the QTE, the only difference is if kiryu gets stabbed in the shoulder or not.

I love that the QTE will actually adapt to whoever is in the party. It's a novelty, but damn if I don't appreciate it.

In my headcanon I think that Kiryu have mention Daigo, Majima and Saejima ability and skill to the party member, so they cope with what Kiryu said and came up with a counters should it be necessary, and not to mention that all 3 of them are kinda pulling their punch.

The failed QTE's in this game are great. It's not like other RGG games where you die instantly or you lose a lot of your hp. The QTE's when failed here usually end up resulting in a different (sometimes cooler) version of the QTE scene, with the same result nonetheless. The final boss one with Kiryu bleeding is pretty sick.

Man, not even Prime Kiryu could've taken on all 3 Jimas at once (even only 2 of them could've beaten them, heck, Saejima flat-out stalemated him TWICE), so this speaks volumes about the skills and strength of the others here. Maybe Saeko or Nanba are on the weaker side, but Seonhee and Zhao are also mobsters and trained fighters, so they carried this fight. What's even more impressive is that Kiryu was weakened due to the cancer. Yup, Kiryu's 4 companions held their own perfectly.

I don't get why people dislike Majima's dub. I get why people dislike Yong, but Matthew Mercer did good. I think people are just wayyyy too used to hearing their JPN voice actors in the sub.

Matt Mercer did fine. He matched the energy, without going over the top like Hideyoshi. Yong Yea, however, physically struggled to speak in the register appropriate for Kiryu, and had the acting talent of a wooden board.

@@clr98421 ok. I guess you missed highschool physics then. An object is moving north. Wich force has a better chance of moving it off course? A force coming directly at it. From north. Moving south. Or A force coming from the side. East to west? The answer is the side. Because when a force meets another, head on. They cancel eachother out. With the stronger forces left over continuing forward. Meanwhile. If a force hits that same object from the side. It is competing with significantly less force. Allowing it to stear the object off course. So to apply that. No matter how strong saijima is. His fist is traveling forward. With no attention to his sides. So a good tackle from the side is enough to throw his punch off it's trajectory. Off course. Boom. Don't sleep through school next time
