Hearing Kiryu sing “Judgement” by himself is both wholesome and a bit heartbreaking. The man has lived a long yet painful life, losing and gaining friends along the way. At least Kashiwagi is still around 😢

Kiryu’s bow and, “Forgive me” feels so loaded. Forgive me for not being able to save you all those years ago, forgive me for not knowing you were still out there. So quietly but powerfully emotionally. This whole scene had me choked up, and then got me ecstatic when Judgement kicked in. What a fucking payoff for longtime fans.

I rather thought it was because Kiryu was showing his respect like he would to a superior. Though Kashiwagi was never his own wakagashira, Kiryu always respected him like one. I thought he was just doing his yakuza manners.

It feels like its all building up to something. Where were the 2 yakuza from gaiden that were pulled into daidoji? Date said something about Akiyama being "back" at the very end of the reunion scenes. Ei-chan and ebina's stories aren't likely over either. Akane and Ichibans story can't end like this either. And what will become of Lani? Lots of questions

This was just delayed. Kiryu already was at Survive in Gaiden when he met with Tsuruno, he was lucky Kashiwagi wasn't there. I wonder if they'd still pretend they don't know each other if they ever meet by themselves. They have so much to catch up.

A dragon of Dojima, Suzuki all game is mistaken for Kiryu just like Joryu was (And notice both games had Like a Dragon in their titles) story is how Kiryu after his Death became sort of a title and Suzuki sees that They all Need Kiryu do he decided to take the title. That's my theory at least.

I can already see kashiwagi shredding the electric keyboard like in 0, kiryu story is truly the most beautiful and saddest ive ever seen in a game and i loved following every bit of it from being a low level Yakuza to father to taxi driver to grandparent to agent to meeting new friends im extremely grateful ive gotten to experience these games i just wish i could do it for the first time a second time god damn i love these games
