Im going to say the Silent Hill thing would be a brilliant creepy update for Halloween prank to play on racing games. Just randomly go heavy fog for one of the cars racing around Spa or somewhere forested. And put them off the track and onto a main street Silent Hill... and put a creepy ghost wait for them if they look back or check their mirror... No announcement just do it.
