This video represents some of the most common dangerous situations at the Nürburgring, like: - Standing at dangerous places on track - Overtaking on the wrong side (during TF) - Ignoring yellow flags - Debris on track - Collisions - Aggressive Driving Keep in mind that it is illegal to overtake on the right during Touristenfahrten. There is no trophy at the end of a TF lap, so there is no need for laprecord attemps. Always be aware about other (slower or less experienced) drivers around you. (Bikers, check your mirrors too!) If your car breaks down, park your car in a safe spot (marked by orange barriers). If you can't drive anymore or if your car has too much damage / leaking fluids, leave the car and get behind barriers ASAP! NOTE BEFORE COMMENTING: This video is a compilation of footage from a few years! It should be obvious that these situations don't happen every weekend. ALSO: THERE WERE NO MARSHALS DURING TOURIST RIDES UP UNTIL 2017! The yellow flag you see is from myself that I brought with me!

You have the number plates. And there are cameras at the beginning of the track. Maybe its good when observers like you team up with ring operators so they can react to that. For example on most parking spots in city’s in poland you have to register your license plates. Something like that connected with the Green hell driving card would be a nice solution to contact the driver for what he has done wrong and maybe give him chance to learn the rules or get him banned if he’s ignoring it.

Maybe .. Because you have AT LEAST 3 flags ( yellow flags ) floating before just this turn ? ( if i'm right one in the beginning of the bottom of the straight road hill , one in the middle where you have public zone , and one where the Auto Addiction cameraman is , there is a flagman here on side of them ( or with them on side of the camera ) and 2 more ( even 3 if i count large ) on the turn before the beginning of the straight line , the 3rd one more just before the turn. SO it's 5 or 6 yellow flags agitated in the air before the workers on the track AT LEAST ( and surely more before all this ) , it's LARGELY enough to be noticed and slow down A WAY before the workers , if you are a driver with just one brain cell left in your head obviously ! ^^' But see it's touristenfahrten sessions , there is a lot of wannabe pilots who can't notice 5 or 6 big yellow flags or can't think enough there will be an obstacle or a dangerous situation / problem after theses yellow flags ^^' And see how the ring is strict with the security of their workers , or just the security alone , i'm almost sure there was flags before the last 2 turns , so it's really a shame they was so numerous to continue to hit hard the throttle pedal here.

Fujitsu is creating a system for AI automated, camera based surveillence: "HD cameras were installed along a 2.8-kilometer section of the track and connected via fiber optics. Fujitsu developed an AI system that can immediately detect safety-relevant incidents and forward them to the responsible authority (command center). During future races, track days, tourist drives, and test drives by the automotive industry, drivers will be warned of hazards via LED displays on the track, enabling all participants to assess the situation more quickly and respond accordingly. After a year of successful test installation, the involved partners are now drawing an entirely positive conclusion, allowing the complete Nürburgring Nordschleife to be fully equipped with the AI-based system over the next two years. The new system is set to be fully operational for the 2025 season, monitoring approximately 21 kilometers of track length."

i really wish erveryone who wants to get a Ticket for Tourist Drive needs to complete a short Briefing like the ones you have when you go karting. That way you could implement various Flag signals like "Dirt on Track" or "Slow car ahead". Another bonus of this is that you could ban people from the Tourist Drives by locking their Tickets so they need to visit another Briefing. I think that would be a good way to make tourist drives more save, there are way to many idiots on the track. Most of them obviously dont even know the basic rules.

@Flamebeard0815 Жыл бұрын
Ummm... no. That looks like a clean driving line to me. Especially with a passenger (higher center of gravity), you have to enter the curve wide, close in and exit wide again if you don't want to do it in snail pace. Look at other instances in this video and others how different car drivers exit that corner. they ALL exit wide. Just because the vehicle in front of you has 2 wheels doesn't mean there's automatically room next to it for you to use. The driver of the beamer overestimated his passing capability and didn't account for the acceleration of the bike and the resulting trajectory.
@JB-rp6it Жыл бұрын
@@Flamebeard0815 🤡 biker needs to use mirrors and stay in the right hand lane when faster traffic is approaching. He took that corner like he was the only person on track. Basic awareness of your surroundings should be top priority on the Ring, especially on 2 wheels.

@petersylvester2905 Жыл бұрын
As a driver and biker I wouldn't assume the bike will keep the same line as a car, look at the clip with the saxo and all the gravel on track, on a bike you've have to stand it up straight. In an ideal world you'd keep the bikes and cars separate so only other understanding riders were around you.
