From Monza causing some massive mayhem, to a rocket that has completely forgotten how to physics, there is plenty of vehicular chaos in this weeks failrace episode.

Last clip reminds me of the engine description for the Up Goer Five from XKCD. "This end should point toward the ground if you want to go to space. If it starts pointing toward space you are having a bad problem and you will not go to space today."

4:16 I particularly love clips like this that are very realistic if you understand the physics of cars, but the average person would think the game is glitching. While I haven't seen a car flip /exactly/ like that in real life, I have seen a car do almost the same thing when the driver turned their steering wheel into another car with too much throttle input + front wheel drive = flip yourself off of the other car. It looks like a skateboard trick and something that shouldn't happen, but if you get the angle right, it's surprisingly easy.

On that iRacing clip, the lead car squeezed the car running the top line as they were still overlapped (honestly Jeff should have been screaming in his ear they are 3 wide and in the middle), and when they came off the banking, he squeezed the car on his outside into the war. And yes, only one car (second place running the low line) made it out cleanly. Everyone else needs to pit or rage quit. There was a lot of penalties given out in that moment.

10 to go Planet Crafter. You can sort of ride the rocket for a short while, but the chance the rocket go bananas is very high :)

1:00 The Brioso on the boost track. I think he does see cars coming on the map and jukes to the right a little. It's at least a little skill mixed with a lot of luck.

That Monza crash reminds me of an old 'Indy 500' for PC in the Windows 3.1 era. There was no penalty for going backwards so you could turn around and barrel into the entire field head on.

In Planet Crafter you can start multiple Rockets in such a short distance, that they will clip into each other doing more or less the same thing. Even an uneven ground below the starting platform can result in such a behavior. 🤣

As The Eastern London conclave descends on to West Ham's new manor to watch some transatlantic bat 'n ball game, it's time to strike out looking with Things We Learned This Week: - The driver of the Batmobile was so jealous of the Firebird/Superbird hybrid, they punted it into the middle of a huge ball of flame that used to be a petrol station - Valitain may want to change their name to Fred The Needle. And invest in some new underpants. - The carjacking of the Jester was absolute textbook, but AI comes along and spoils everything - Meanwhile, in clearly not GTALand, the hot rod in question becomes the recipient of a reverse car-hat which distracts them sufficiently for them to swim with the fishes - Ah, the good old FRPD, resorting to tried and trusted tactics such as carhatting and breakdancing in front of the perp vehicle - The midnight drag race is curtailed somewhat by a rogue truck that decides to go on the racing line - On the mean streets of Brighton, the local police force has to contend with the FailRace Recovery Department - When is a crash not a crash? When the game doesn't know when there is a crash... or not - Calvin's parking skills leave a lot to be desired; best not to try drifting in search of a good parking space - At Bathurst, Chevrolet unwittingly announce their MotoGP programme - I'd say "insert your Monza T1 gag here", but this massive cronch session is nowhere near the Retifillio - And if you're going to launch on a rocket, don't stand on it as it'll affect the physics Ten more to go to #500...

Hi, I dont know if you’ll read this, but I loved the singular Hunt the Survivors video in gta 5 in which they where actually hiding, where you seeked with a Weaponised Tampa. I prefer it to the other format where the others are just running around(Im sure atleast some people will agree) but just with the guy showing the map being in the passenger seat and also letting people join in as seeker once they are caught..

Tonight, we go F1 racing in Team Insight, but refuse to overtake the cars carrying this week's collection of chaos. Called into a pitstop, I slurp down water, delighted my car is now being refuelled with some good ol' "Things We Enjoyed This Week": * 0:20 What do a Giant Rat and Agent 41 have in common? In Los Santos, they are friends with the worst Batman in the city who is too helpful when they need a fuel stop. * 0:47 What's better than threading the needle? Well, Valitain says its threading the needle between two Minis, while being turbo boosted through a circuit's crossover point. * 1:32 Because carjackings and car thefts are going up in Los Santos, local citizens have now adopted vigilantism rules that clearly state what to do when one comes across a vehicle theft in progress. * 1:52 Motorcycle madness has spread to Mexico, where this classic car tries to be one, but the gods of Mexico clearly do not like this, and the attempt soon becomes a literal washout. * 2:09 FRPD officers are back on form again with that carhatting craze, believing it will help catch them more crims. If not going well, they do have the standby "rolling attack" option. * 2:44 It's great to get a boost in a street-level drag race, but not so great when the boost is stolen by an opponent who quickly steals a podium from you. * 3:05 Tow Truck drivers are so unfriendly with FRPD cruisers, that even when they're on a job, they will always land the FRPD with a skyrocketing repair bill. * 3:28 The NFS gods learned lessons from the Snowrunner gods, because when Venstoma cheesed themselves out of a crash, they were quick to physics the game in order to get the crash they wanted. * 4:20 On the US West Coast, a local city council has recently decided to stop drifting down car park ramps by unveiling brand new anti-drift devices. So far, they are working as hoped. * 4:53 Bathurst is now getting the motorcycle bug, where a Camaro attempts to become one. Sometimes you got it, other times you haven't, and the Camaro rolls into the latter. * 5:22 At Monza, all it takes is a clip on a wall to turn a tide of Mustangs into a wave. * 5:55 The FRSL have done it again - they have a rocket so indestructible, that even if a scientist of their's accidentally causes it to mislaunch, it will not blow up no matter how many times it clonks the ground at great speed. And with that, I have to get a move on in the race, as I have just been lapped by my rival in Team "Things We Learned This Week". So I'm off for my podium, and until next time... OILY!!!
