The Satsuma finished its run as the most well preserved vehicle (at least of those that made it past the first lap), by far. :) And I was sure the Piccolina would get one of the doors chomped on by some scenery and end up mangled, I'm happy you managed to avoid that.

In my opinion the Piccolina Convertible got a 1 3/4 lap more than it should have. Like I said before. If you have to avoid an obstacle to continue, you shoul be out.

If you ever start another DTD, what would be interesting to see is the implementation of the Beam Regenerator mod, it’s a fairly new mod that bends the car (only the frame, not the suspension, radiator, etc.) back into perfect condition and in my opinion its not op as it only repairs the frame. I would say that you can get one use per car, for example if the frame bends and puts the driveshaft at risk you can bend the car back if you deem it necessary.

I think a core element of DTDs (especially on previous circuits) was the cars ability to handle jumps. If the frame got damaged and consequently the driveshaft went, that was just part and parcel of tackling the various DTD circuits.

If you added this into the series, we could definitely end up with videos that only have one car driving in the because the got a borked frame after running around for 15mi and then can do another 7 or 8 once the chassis has been fixed.

I enjoy these videos but I wish that if you drive onto the grass your vehicle should get more issues, not 100% sure what it should be but it should be something so you stop cutting corners and stiff, now my first thought was a wall along the road at say 1/2 a car width away from the road or something but I don't really like that solution but maybe if you put a wall 1 car width away but the wall was full of spike or something so any attempt to drive along the wall destroyed the car over time, or some other option. I think you and the car should both suffer for bad driving, but it is just my random thought.
