I have a rather ambitious plan for this survive the hunt, not only do i have to stay alive and take out some cars, i also have to try and have my getaway car picked up by a helicopter. What could possibly go wrong ?

Alex is just extremely reluctant to sink Blimpus in this series, he passes on good opportunities in a number of hunts. I believe he's afraid of failing to hit the blimp and exposing himself to other chasers by standing around. I'm still hoping he'll shake the paranoia and show us some fireworks one of these months.

@@modothegreat108 Alex is "missing" a lot of opportunities in these series. Blimpus was a 100% shot in that one situation in this ep, there was no way to miss it. Went to the repair shop, repaired his car, changed the colour... but why not upgrade it? Stuff like that man... it's episode 40, they could have improved so many stuff by now.

You should do a Christmas special where you deliver "presents" (actually sticky bombs) to specific houses without getting caught. Plus, you could have the map be covered in snow if that's possible for extra slippery challenge. It could be good fun, and very festive!

Alex really needs to add the rule of "no calling muggers on Alex". Edit: One of these times, Alex needs to use the train as the way to escape the city, just don't tell the Hunters that the train will be the escape vehicle from the city. Or just grab a vehicle to escape in and just follow the tracks out of the city.

Actually the mugger was a fun idea. Alex has gotten too good at avoiding the hunters, I personally would love to see more high-speed chases and narrow escapes. The mugger poses an additional challenge, imagine Alex doing his best trying to blend in the AI traffic with hunters around and the mugger giving his position away at the worst possible moment... I would add the rule of "can't kill the mugger" and see how it plays out, if only for once.

I don't know if you know about this, but Rockstar recently gave players the ability to narrow down the radio station choices to just their favorites... and if you deselect all of the stations then the radio will always be off, no matter what car you're driving.

Alternatively, if the window is already down or broken, shoot the window of another AI, this will make them freak out and drive off at speed with a broken window. The hunters may assume it's Alex.

@@RockerJC89 End of the day it's more or less the same formula for 40 eps in a row. Ik some ppl will jump on to say that "many changes happened" but I don't agree rly. Not enough when you have this show only 12 times an year. That's just my opinion. Ik it takes a lot of effort to make these eps but this isn't smth that's just now beginning to appear, no it's... well 40 eps in. There's no edits, it's straight just Alex's camera and even tho he's started to do more stuff and be more creative I'd say... there are definetely some stuff that are like crying out for a change. I saw a comment about the radio for example, how it can be switched off completely from the beginning of the game. Mind that it's 40 eps in. If you go around the comments you'll see a lot of recommendations about small but very key changes that genuinely sound like great ideas and the overall like push is for more bravery, more acting on the spot when the moment arrives. So so so many times that damn Blimpus could have fallen down. You see those missed opportunities, you wait a month and see them again. This is just a fan speaking his heart out on about a genuinely amazing GTA V show that genuinely could be even better with key improvements.

some AIs will get aggressive and try to fight you if you hit their car, its rare that they have guns but it happens. It's more common in the ghetto areas and in sandy shores though

In the interaction menu, under inventory (for some reason) you can set preferred stations, if you remove every station the radio is always off when you get into cars.

@6:30 it's not further forward, it's further to the left. As someone who normally drives a right hand drive, your brain is wired to keep your car to the middle to right of a lane. But in a left hand drive, you put most of the extra space onto your right. So where you see the yellow line on your left, you should be much, much closer to it. Where you stopped was essentially in the middle of two lanes, so they guy drives around you.

That car that 'fell' was just a Hunter jumping from the car park next to the impound lot. Also, should have just left the Mugger after you got mugged. At that point it's a run-away car driving erratically that none of the Hunters could confirm is them. Maybe would've thrown them off, especially if you blew up the Panto right then. Lol. Would've been amazing.

Here's an interesting thought: the hunters have cottoned on to the idea that AI car's overtaking the first car at a traffic light and then turning right means that the first car is Alex. How about Alex reverses that strategy and overtakes cars at the front of a queue at traffic lights, then stops next to them for a second or two, then reeeeally peels of with blaring horns to turn right on the traffic light. That might make the hunters believe that the car left behind at the traffic light might be Alex, and the car running away is a pissed off AI car.

Alex, when you said that the get-away vehicle was going to get picked up by a cargo bob I was convinced that you were going to get killed by damn near all the hunters but it actually worked!! I could see that if you would have blown up the blimp it would have most likely blown up the cargo bob too. The muggers being called out on you during the night was extremely funny cuz you couldn't be stealthy with an A/I constantly running after you. I was laughing out loud at 4:30AM trying to be quiet cuz the rest of the family was still sleeping. That random A/I shooting at you was extremely odd. and since it chase after you it was obviously an A/I. Congrats on another fun getaway.

What I find endlessly interesting is that Alex continues to refer to right turns as left and left turns as right due to the differences between right side/left side driving between the US and UK. I assume this implies that in his head, Alex defines turns based on whether they cross opposing traffic or not, despite that they are named after the directions.

I do exactly the same thing and my job is in transport engineering! Did some work in drive on the right countries and often confused my colleagues by referring to the turn across traffic as a 'right'. Probably doesn't help that my sense of left & right has never worked so means I really do think of turns by conflict rather than direction.

I'm 29 minutes in, and my thought right now is the muggers (and general mayhem) are a Halloween special event - the start of a zombie apocalypse. People standing in the road were the start of the spread, which ramped up as the sun was setting to fast zombies. The random Cargobob incident sealed it for me.

One of the latest updates reintroduced an old bug where spawning cars spawn at world height and fall without damage unless they hit a player or player vehicle. Be careful near the airport or bus depot. Also, out in the north crop dusters will randomly fly straight into the ground.

That's not what happened. That was obviously a Hunter who jumped from the car park next to the impound lot, which was right next to where he was. He just didn't look in the direction the car came from, for some reason..

watching those cars that try to get around a player because theyre not making a right turn makes for a good bait, if youre worried about hunters nearby, do that to an NPC so they hopefully chase them and you go the other direction

Alex, If you ever want to hide you weapon, just "equip" the fists on the bottom center of the wheel. Also, with the Tuners' DLC we can now remove radios from the wheel by unfavouriting them!

I think in the next installment, Alex should be a hunter so we can see how he would handle these situations. I know we get a hunters perspective not long after the main video but it would be fun to see how Alex would handle it on the other side.
