FEAR FaceEveryrhingAndRecover I’m trying to do this with my anxiety. I was journaling and meditating and somatic tracking for my anxiety. I’ve finally decided to stop trying to fix my anxiety and just accept that it’s here right now and live my life the best that I can. I have faith the anxiety will melt away. But it’s definitely not easy. Sending so much love to everyone who is suffering from their symptoms. And thank you Dan for these daily videos. They help more than you know.

I have had a cold two weeks. Every time I get one I feel like it’s the end of the world. Never goes away in a few days like most people. I think it lingers from TMS.

Great topic to end the year Dan! I love the English word: reconciliation ! I flare every night but every morning I reconcile with the flare and it calms down.. I look back on a tough life but now if a memory pops up, I reconcile with it.. I do it with everything now and it’s so uplifting for my mood..! Instead of recovering, we can also add reconciliation with the pains, bad habits, failures of the past etc.. Anyways, maybe this helps someone too.. Take good care of your cold Dan! Happy to hear you had a lovely family gathering ❤

How do you reconcile with the night time flares because all my flare-ups happen when I'm sleeping and I wake with increased sensations. Some Insights would be very helpful thank you 🙏

Dan, I found your videos during summer about 4-5 months ago and I made such great progress. It’s not solely your videos, but they helped a lot with the practical ‘how to’. I don’t listen to any other mind-body videos apart yours, but I listen to some sermons. And I feel like they talk about the spiritual part and you talk about the practical part. You make it simple. I have been able to knock off many of my fears. 😍

Failure is a step "forward" not backwards. New sensations showing up,🙄 roll of the eyes is my acknowledgement and my signal to move forward. Thanks again for being here, much appreciated.

I've been telling my brain that I just don't accept its verdict that I need to have pain because it thinks I do...I just refuse to accept its verdict. ...

Dan I have that chronic fatigue crap! I have been in some other programs and I think they make it complicated! I still think your way is really simplified because the brain is the control center of the whole body, so makes total sense. Thank you so much for all you do.!

I just discovered your videos, and I am absolutely loving them. You are so calming and soothing and gentle. I aspire to be like you❤ I want to help people. Thank you for this reminder. There is no longer a need to figure things out. I already know what's going on here. I choose to accept it and move forward with trust and confidence ❤ I got a 43 out of 50 on the TMS quiz. The amount of confidence that has given me, even though I am familiar with these concepts already for several years, is really helpful. I have never seen a quiz like that before. Thanks for that

Feel better soon! I have it too, along with a low fever. Of course my fear brain goes right to “the last time this happened, my baseline dropped again (post covid stuff) so am trying to not “go there” or get swept up in the stories about what might happen. It’s hard. Going to take care of myself and expect the best ❤🎉 hope you had a nice Xmas 🎄

Hi Dan ! Thanks for this video . For the first time in a long while I have an intense flare up and have colourful pains all over my body . No idea why ? I stay calm an keep on doing my things as I would have done without the sensations . And they are as extreme …as when I started my journey with you last March . No fear , no panic , though a bit of frustration, thinking that this would not occur again . Anyway will try to see this solely as a learning opportunity. Not missing any of your daily videos I want you to sincerely thank you for all you do !!!! ❤

Everyday I give it my best and there are things that are so frustrating that I don't expect will happen. Yesterday I had some plum pudding and it increased The Sensations so much that my whole internal body is rocking from the sympathetic Overdrive and then it feeds into my sleep so that my sleep is more aroused. The sensitisation of my nervous system has increased over the last year and there is medication that is involved that I'm also reacting to that as well. Doing everything I know to teach my rational brain that this is not dangerous but my limbic system is having a wild party.,. thanks Dan for all your wisdom I'm glad you had a lovely Christmas. celebration 🌲🙏

I relate. It’s hard not to get caught up in the sensations. I’m trying to separate myself from my body and watch the symptoms as if they’re just a turbulent ocean and nothing to do with me. Not easy!

@@J-xy6eb that's exactly the only way we can do it is to be the watcher and teach the subconscious brain there is no danger. I'm trying to have more conversations with my conscious brain the prefrontal cortex. Thank you for your reply.

When you know and commit, but your family doesn’t believe in TMS, it makes the healing even harder. How the heck do you deal with this on a daily basis. I know what I know, but they verbalize their disbelief instead of supporting me

I know it's hard, but tell them that you do not want to hear their opinions on it anymore. Set a boundary. They are wrong. Do your best not to take their doubt on. And do your best to teach your brain that the aggravation they are causing is not dangerous and that you don't need to hurt.

I find that I am more activated at night. Symptoms are going up at night. My days are more balanced. I am able to be with them. I am not panicking . I know that in the morning I am better . A kind of reset. What would you suggest. How do I break this pattern.

Are you saying that TMS and PDP are two different beliefs?
@PainFreeYou

No - two different acronyms for the same exact thing. Symptoms created by the brain, not the body.
