Well to be fair reading a report and actually seeing it happen are very different. Not to mention Daniel been addicted like twice and only truly went dark in a dream sequence given to him by the Harcesis. Cameroon personal experience with Daniel would tell him otherwise. Who am kidding, he only said that just so he could be the one to go and do it.

There were plenty of times we saw the darker side of Daniel.

23:20 They said that all the gates are on board of the Odyssey except one prabobly the active one they used. (How Sam and Daniel placed beacons on all of them so once the shield droped they pushed a button and that's done...)

They of course removed the beacon from the one they used to escape, just in case it gets beamed as one of them was half way into the gate. Don't really know, what teleporting an active gate could do either.

Matthew Glave is an underrated actor. He went from playing a total douche in The Wedding Singer to playing a great commander Colonel Emerson on SG-1 and now he plays in The Rookie as the conniving but likable con man Oscar Hutchinson.

The gate looks weird because it's CG. The depth and angle of the gate looks off in a lot of the later episodes. SGA suffers the same issue.

12:23 if I had to guess it probably stands patrol boat. You know, something super innocuous. The 304s are designated as battlecruisers but the US military couldn't show that on documentation. BC would raise some eyebrows if the wrong people found out because nobody has battlecruisers (except Russia's two) or battleships anymore. So something more mundane like PB will be easier to explain.

I'm sorry but the Lucian Alliance was just such a bland villain (group). After Anubis en now the Ori they just feel totally out of place. They also come across as a writers fixation, similar to what Cerberus turned into in the Mass Effect trilogy.

The Lucian Alliance storyline doesn't even make any sense. You'd think they would be happy to work with SG-1 since the Tau'ri are the ones who made the Lucian Alliance possible. It gets especially bad in SGU when they're suddenly presented as battle hardened Special Forces type soldiers with decades of combat experience when they were literally just slaves and farmers less than 5 years before that.

What bothers me is how they got so heavily armed so quickly. They should be maybe at the level of season 3 tauri. Not a rival for season 9 and later tauri.

The Daedulus should be able to decimate the Lucian Alliance fleet with ease because Asgard weapons and shields are far superior to Goa'uld tech and all the Ha'tak ships that had Ancient technology incorporated were destroyed above Earth during Anubis attack on Earth when Jack used the chair platform to destroy Anubis's fleet.

both solkar and anubis has technology to move "stargates" from one planet unto their ships.. lucian alliance doesnt have it.. baall in a way has it also.. if niriti was alive(she would eventually get it as well) i mean she had super soldiers under her belt(for a moment) you dont shes smart enough to have "strong enough beaming technology? jonas his people work with naqqadah( you dont think they can eventually rework the energy output for naqqadah to become a source of beam technology? come on now theres way too much possibilities here
