@cnydo last time I faced them, I impermed raiders knight and they still popped that sucker out. Maybe it was an anime hand, but I felt cheated. Perfectly timed interrupt (only drew 1) and just got rolled anyways

@@red-sparrow.819 , of course there are others. But the big "but" is that those that I've mentioned are better unaffected monsters. Noir can spin, Falcon has 4,000 atk, destroys cards, burns and copies effects, and Cook can only be removed from the field by Kaijus, a Daruma or similar card effects if properly summoned. I mean, I really like Punisher but the fact is undeniable.

I hate to say it, I really do but honestly Kali Yuga should have been banned ages ago. I don’t get why Calamity needs to go but Kali Yuga is cool with Konami

@@vuze1887 What do you define as “meta”? Whether the deck is meta or not it doesn’t change the fact it’s a toxic, boring and uninteractive card. Look at floodgates Konami has been continuously hitting floodgates and used solely by stun despite stun being rogue. It’s capabilities don’t matter

@@FrostReave Why Kali Yuga should be banned when the other alternative to summon it on the opponent's turn (through Wonder Xyz or Full Armor) is so gimmick even a dedicated deck isn't guaranteed to perform? The banworthy card that has ALWAYS been the problem is Launch. It went from Ophion to Azathoth to VFD to Kali Yuga so it was NEVER used for its intended purpose. Then it received not 1 but 2 direct upgrades that are played in the deck for the actual monsters they need to access. Meanwhile Launch cheats out the monster on fast effect speed and limits future card design for any potential DARK Xyz that isn't Rank 1. Unlike most other RUMs, it ignores Type/Attribute/Name/Archetype and is completely generic for DARK. The same will eventually apply to Crimson Dragon. Some card effects are just waiting to become problematic. Copy effects, cheating mechanics, giving stuff to your opponent is the trifecta of problematic card design.

The main way to play around Kali Yuga and not rely on Kaijus is to use effects in hand and grave. It negates only on field, so things such as Dark Ruler and Evenly won't take effect. As for how consistent it is and how often, Raidraptor easily can make it with a Rising Rebellion, Ultimate, and Arsenal on board with PK RUM and Rising Rebellion RUM both ready plus whatever else they have.

Kali requires D/D monsters to make, so the only other way to cheat it out is Exosister tagout Xyz and PK RUM.

@@ProfessorChad0570 And it's not even that good in D/D since they have to hard make it so no one's really gonna miss it. Exosisters need their boss monster WAY more than that thing. Quick Play Rank-Ups also need better restrictions to keep stupid stuff like Kali Yuga and Azathot from being stupidly easy to turbo out mid-turn.

@@s2-railgun718 the entire fault is on Launch. Historically it has only been used for Ophion, Azathoth, VFD and now Kali Yuga. It has been proved that it will just wait for another potential target. Same issue with Crimson Dragon waiting to be a problem in the future while limiting card design.

I won’t lie, I absolutely love cards like Kali Yuga and Hot Red Calamity. Buuuut, I’ve never once summoned either of them outside of my turn. They go so hard when people don’t find every excuse to turn the game off for the opponent. I love them and I will always play them in my at-home decks, but I will admit cards like that can’t be allowed to exist unfortunately so long as the game stays in this state where summoning ED monsters during the enemy turn is just as easy at it would be on your turn

It's a shame he couldn't get at least one game win vs Snake-eyes. I loved the card design for Libromancers and seeing them paired with Silenforcers made me very happy, they mesh. Can bait out ash and even Promethian, plus you have lots of space for hand traps or board breakers. Its a well thought out strategy that just lacked the hand to make it famous. I can't wait to view the decklist after the tourney edit: The only downside is the high UR cost to make the deck smh

Dkayed if fiendsmith and infernoid support will come out at the same time, will you pleeeaase do a video showcasing snake eye ash one card combo that discards the whole opponents hand and sets up a spell trap and monster negate with decatrons to beat whatever the top deck is. It is such a nasty deck and would be such a great video.

I play unchained and with underworld goddess I can out 1 unaffected monster and I have a lot of gas to play through disruption. When raid raptors get 2 unaffected on the field, I'll admit I get pretty mad because there's nothing I can do at that point.

I will be fucking pissed if they ban requiem, orthros, caesar or kali yuga because of other decks while we are still missing a single animation, and I will be more pissed if they give an animation to doom king

As a D/D enjoyer myself let me ask you this: Armageddon animation or no animation at all? I would go with the 2nd. Ragnarok is more deserving as he is the true mastermind. However my pick would actually be Gilgamesh for a summon animation, while I would love an effect animation on Machinex using the SUCC, for EVERY TIME HE USES IT.

@@babrad No animation, it is always insulting when your deck gets an animation for a card you'll never use, like marincess or purrely, if you're never gonna see it, what's the point of the animation then? it's not different to not having an animation at all, purrely sees zeus animations more often than happiness and marincess only sees zealantis's animation at all. As for who should get it, I'm gonna be real, I don't we will get one, so no point in fantasising anymore. If we were to get one it would be because the servers are closing down next day.

I wish Konami would make more decks meta that have "short" combos like Swoso or voiceless. It is clear that Konami has the ability to do so and avoid having decks go through 30 cards to end on SP pass....

I battled against a raid-raptor+Kali Yuga with voiceless and still managed to win since skull knight is still a heck of a beat stick tho the fact that my board state could be fixed on my opponents turn was the only reason i could stay winning, most decks would have to just skip which makes this more luck of the deck then a draw the out

Skull Knight is a 2050 beaten stick while Kali Yuga would Heavy Storm the board during the end phase not allowing you to depend on the continuous cards. Then if Ultimate Falcon was one of the unaffected monsters, in the end phase Skull Guardian would permanently lose 1k ATK making it 3100 and those monsters start at 3500

Well to be fair, cards like Kali Yuga were actually designed to have drawbacks for your own turn. Dumb that it affects both players, but it wasn’t designed to be summoned on the opponent’s turn. Hence why now that it can be, the card should be banned. I don’t think summoning an interruption on the opps turn is bad. It just shouldn’t lead to a card that reads “you may not play cards now”

It was not made to be summoned on your opponent's turn. The intended use was to summon it on your turn so you can safely otk without getting disrupted by your opponent's cards.

Raidraptor is one of those annoying as fuck mediocre decks. We don't need more of those. We need decks, that don't have many 1 card combos and summon less than 7 times per turn for the desired endboard...

bro, raidraptors have 1 card that is combo. most of the times u need 2 card combos. and summoning 10+ times is not exclusive to RR. You should say that about literaly every archetype in the game

Hate kali yuga, im a raid raptor player and kali yuga players give us a bad name, playing pure is way more consistent and our tower monsters are enough of a win condition anyway
