Fair Racing Sporting over/under shotgun: the field test

I just got a Carrera Sporting 12 gauge with a thirty inch ported barrel. The detail and finish are excellent. The wood stock has tiger like patterns and makes for a beautiful look. I was very surprised with the look of the stock. The tolerance is tight and will take some time to break in. That's a good thing so it's not a problem. The one thing I wish is that the stock had a neutral swell. I'm left handed and the stock has a right hand palm swell. The comb is adjustable and that's the reason why I purchased the model. Overall I give this shotgun five 🌟!

i just got a Carrera One like yours a couple of weeks ago and I love it, Great gun and quality workmanship. Glad I decided to get it.

As a left handed shooter myself, I ordered a Fair Racing Sporting with a left hand stock. with a small stock adjustment (raised the comb ~0,5cm, and pushed it to the left where my cheek sits), it fits me perfectly. the left handed palm swell is ergonomic and comfortable. Also compared to the right handed model, the whole stock is more comfortable for a left hander. Have shot more than 2000 shot cartridges through it, hasn't failed once. Loving it.

@@MinhVu-in9iz I bought 2 of the HR Carerra Sportings with the 32" barrels, One has been perfect the other has had issues, The forearm separated from the hanging iron after sp[litting, Has had issues with snagging the brass on shells of all types and had firing pin protrusion issues. FAIR USA has been a pain in the ass to work with and even though the gun was less than a year old and had about 2500 shells through it would not cover the replacement of the forearm. Luckily the Gunsmith they had me send it to had a forearm on hand that matched the stock and he took care of the other issues. Again the Gunsmith was great, Dealing with customer service not so much.
