When you are uploading in youtube, all punishments/fines are decided by youtube only. So, based on songs you may get claim or strike with your video being taken down. No one will drag you to the court unless you try to prove it's yours and there is confusion...!!

I've used Om Mane Padme Hum on my Facebook vid which is certainly not for profit purpose. The message told me that song is copyrighted to "Nh?c Thi?n T?nh Tâm S? 2" by Peto so they muted it. But at KZbin I found different owner. Is owner different when we use on Facebook and KZbin? How to find the real owner so that I can ask for permission to the real owner to use his/her music? Firstly, algorithms do not understand your intentions/mind. It only knows the instructions. I am not sure how Facebook works on copyrights. But a single song may have different versions and different owners may have registered them differently on diff platforms. It's not straight forward..!

Writing the information doesn't save you from copyright. Seconds doesn't matter - you may or may not get copyright depending on how fairly you used. Duration is not a decider. I don't know which music they use. If they used as per music polices, it's ok.

What if I say a name of a movie in my video, for example "udta punjab". Will I get a copyright for saying a name of movie or if I sing 2 lines of a song in my voice, will I get a copyright?

Now a days, many karaoke tracks of film songs are available in different languages. My doubts: 1) Can we sing in public gathering by using the track ? 2) Can we put it in FB or KZbin by recording our own voice with the track ( cover song)..?

Technically they are all copyrighted. However, no one will create an issue if you are showing your talent or doint it for fun. Problem is only when u start earning with it. But when you share it is social media, if the algorithm recognizes the song and removes it or puts copyright claim automatically, we can't do much.

Sir, sometimes I get a copyright claim on backgroud music for 20 or 25 seconds on my video. But when I go ahead to mute,replace or trim that segment it asks to remove a bigger portion like 8 mins. What can I do in that case.

If the actual song is for 20 25 sec, then you contact youtube customer care.. But if the actual copyrighted music in the video is lengthier, then it sometimes asks you to remove an mute/replace an song. So you can do it..!
