Nothing wrong with narration, always a pleasure to listen to someone being enthusiastic about stuff. Can't help but feel envious of people living in a place where all kind of stuff just grows outside.

Amazing Garden ~ love so much wildly growing orchids. Like a fairytale🧚 thinking about my childhood🌳 grandparents' huge Garden. Huge trees. Lots of 🐦:).....the gardener has a big greenhouse with all kinds of beautiful flowers & plans 🪷🪻🍀. I was sleeping in there sometime in Winter 🤍🌙⭐️ ✷We need more trees & plans for our environment 🌳☁️♻️

1:25 In the case of the UK. If you get a national trust membership (£50 which is only just over $50) you can get into a LOT of botanical gardens all around the UK (plus some parks and historic houses etc). As well as free parking in some places. TBH it's definatly worth it if you're a Brit. Or even if you come to the UK and want to visit a bunch of places. My local botanical garden is very old, it was started by a wealthy couple who wanted to collect a bunch of rare plants from their travels around the world. A lot of the plants they have are not rare anymore, but they were when they were put there (it's like magnolia heaven). They also have some giant well established trees that don't generally grow in my country. Like monkey puzzle, Montery pines etc. It has a super old willow, a beutiful steep path where you're surrounded with a crazy amount of plants. It's got a small garden where they experiment with different techniques for growing in a small space. Last year they put there a wildflower garden where they intentionally choose a bunch of tall plants and they let them all go to seedand created this seedhead garden. Looked amazing. They have an acer forest full of various species of acer. Including some very old acer pallidium (which would've been rare in the UK when it was planted, but is very common now) chinestus, campestre and I forget the other one (the one with the long "fingers"). The place looks stunning, and it gets a crazy amount of rainfall. It's in one of the wettest parts of the UK. So it's interesting to see what they do with that kind of temperate/cold, wet climate.

I'm so glad you got you were able get so many long, zoomed out shots to catch the composition of the place with everything growing together. These days there is tendency to identify each and every plant but in this case the whole is far far greater than the sum of it parts.

I prefer sunken gardens. It’s so much smaller but so much more densely planted so it really feels like a tropical rainforest.

@@TechplantChannel A lot of gardens are greatful for the visitors in winter, tends to be quieter and with less kids about. If you're the antisocial sort winter/autumn are good times to visit your local garden :P

The rain was so cool. Great video. How many plants you own did you recognize there? I have several orchids so it was a treat to see the roots wrapping around a tree. Yes, I too would love to take a trip to South America just to look at jungle plants. Maybe Costa Rica.

I can recognize a lot in the actual greenhouses but there was a huge variety of stuff out in the cloud forest. Mostly I can recognize genus but individual species is hard
