Actually, the Magnavox Oddesy was the first console to use cartridges and several of your time lines are out of date. The Fairchild channel F came out in 1976 and Coleco did not really come onto the scene at all until their Coleco Vision in 1982. Videocard 20 had been released by 1978. The reason for so many down votes and the eventual disabling of your video rating is probably due to all these incorrect dates for a video that is claiming to be historically accurate .

actually the odyssey cards are not cartridges. they just changed the main games coding. Many historians will fight you on that.

I grew up as a dirt poor 80s kid and never had a video game console until getting the 7800 for Christmas '88 and that thing quickly began collecting dust. I then traded in my NES which I got the next year since we couldn't get a clear picture for it on my dad's TV that had hook-and-screw connectors. Finally, after 11 boring years of playing outside, I got an SNES in '92. The next 7 years were easily the funnest of my life and I play that SNES to this day. Don't knock others for being different.

Chris reminds me of my old history teachers... They would take FOREVER getting through ancient civilizations and Indians and then maybe spare a quarter on the last 300 years which featured HUGE wars that influenced the way the world would truly become. Man I love watching Irate Gamer's videos. Here are my 2 problems: He takes a little too long on releasing videos, and that his irate episode are a bit too short now. But besides that, I really enjoy these videos!
