Fairfield Circuitry pedals are made for grownups. Most of the other brands on the market keep on releasing stupidly cheesy pedals with lame paint jobs, which make them look like toys for children. I'm pointing at you, OBNE, KMA, Cooper FX and EQD.

Congratulations on the recent ten (10) year anniversary of this wonderful product. It is working its way up my priorities list for acquisition. If I were to spec a "Meet Maude V 2.0" I would prioritize the following: 1) Stereo Output with differences in modulation between the two channels. 2) A second CV/Expression jack. 3) Stereo Input. I suppose one could buy two units for stereo but having the pots be the same for both channels would be nice.

When you push the Feed control, the circuit seems to oscillate but without the (almost) uncontrollable runaway and scream i experience with my current BBD delay (memory boy). Is this the effect of the compressor at the input of the delay loop ? A cool feature anyhow, as the possibility of CV controls and insert in loop. I consider buy one. Guys, if I turn the feed knob anywhere past 1 o clock on my Meet Maude, the pedal goes in to crazy oscillation. Any ideas why this might be happening? I've noticed people taking the feed knob much higher in demos. Many thanks in advance.
@FairfieldCircuitry6 жыл бұрын
Lee Mead-Batten The Tone knob works in conjunction with the Feed. Compression ratio also has an impact. Their can be differences from one Meet Maude to the other. If you have any other questions, please send us an e-mail, this is not the proper channel to receive support.

Terrible example. What's the point of playing repetitious tunes while displaying a delay pedal. What's effect and what's tune. To make matters worse your volume is so low and your playing is so short and intermittent. That's my 2 cents... sorry.
@FairfieldCircuitry4 жыл бұрын
On most of these examples, the clean signal is heard when the pedal is bypassed. Albeit, it is sometimes short for brevity's sake. If you concentrate, and play it back, you should get a feel for what the effect is doing. I don't really understand why you say the volume is low, are you listening to this on your phone or laptop speakers? The short and intermittent playing is useful in this case to highlight the repetitions of the delay. The point of repeating a pattern is not only a characteristic of music in general, but also a good way to show how the pedal is affecting the sound as the controls are manipulated. There are other demos of the pedal which might be better examples for you.
