Fairfield Inn & Suites - W. 40th Street Near Times Square - Manhattan Cheap Hotel Review

I was looking for a budget hotel near Times Square, within walking distance of Penn Station. Fairfield Inn & Suites was everything I wanted - cheap room rates, great location close to subways and Port Authority Bus Station, safe, and clean. Plus, the hotel provided free breakfast and Wi-Fi! Stayed here prior to my Bliss cruise January 2020.....it was a great place, very friendly staff. Only thing missing was a place to eat.

This seems like an awesome hotel. I decided to stay at the Marriott Marquis when in Times SQ when I am with my family, because the rooms are a bit bigger than most hotels. And it’s in the center of everything. If I come to NYC without family or with my grandparents I will most likely stay here

I've never stayed at the Marriot Marquis, but they have a nice bar/lounge area (maybe around the 10th floor?) that I've been to a few times. Depends on the season. Typically, NYC is busiest in Nov-Dec, Jan-Feb and summer are the slowest and cheapest. A room now is probably around $150. Special events in the city such as the UN General Assembly cause hotel rates to skyrocket. When are you planning to visit? Thanks for watching, Tanveer!
