Also for a Chinese who grew up playing Tencent's games I would say they are being subtle with ABI, back in my days they would sell skins that give damage boost or reduced recoil or faster reload or shit like that.

36:00 Big mistake for Free2play players.... They sell immediately before they check the prize. Tip for selling item fast but still at the same prize. When you sell in the market you see that the item you sell is cheaper than the market, that makes you lose profits. Try click the prize chart where people sell the most and also recently and dont choose the top chart cuz no one is buyin them. Thats it, just click the chart and sell. Your item will follow the prize of the market instead of the default. Allot of noob player got caught with unprofitable sold items. And also guns are way more profitable when selling them separately instead of the full attached guns. It waste selling slots but its worth the money.

I always check the contact prices first before putting on the market to prevent wasting time. A item worth 50k sold to a contact is better than listing on market for 55k profit if it takes 12-24 hrs for it to sell and you lose that item slot for that time.

@@RedLine121-A really want to explore the tv station once the pc update comes out but it's on forbidden zone only, but you saying that definitely does not help hahaha. Also might I add in the armory map today that you also have to expect a PvP gunfight already as soon as the round starts because teams rush spawnpoints already. This makes tear gases and molotovs essential to throw. Funny thing is that this also makes the entire lobby quiet for almost 15 mins if a team successfully wipes out the lobby.

They have actually made earning in ABI much easier with item loot value. For example the eye glass is 20k in ABI & in AB mobile its somewhere between 5-6k max. Every value is almost tripled in ABI. I hope this update comes to mobile too.

ABM has been out for longer and has more players. That means there are more items in circulation which means cheaper items due to undercutting of prices.

@SneedFeeder I don't think that's how it works. Undercutting of price only works and affects the market selling. When you sell it to the contacts nothing changes. The difference between ABI and ABM is when you sell it to the contacts you can earn more in ABI than ABM. Which means you don't have to wait for someone to buy your stuff from the market to make good money. You can still just sell it to the contact at a higher price hence faster earning.

@@bengorst5856 in ABM the most stack gun build (not include thermal scope cuz that alone is 200k-300k) is around 100k-150k depends on which gun you choose, for example meta short barrel Fal is around 150-180k or, Hk416 which is consider the drippier M4A1 in both looks and stat are around 220k (these 2 gun are very expensive compared to other due to it's popularity for T6 chad but hope you get the idea) but as someone already mention above, ABI economy is different than in ABM because most of the loot value is at least double(or triple with gold or red item)

Well just goes to more inaccurate use of pay to win cause in tarkov people call the unheard version pay to win but you don't get the direct credit benefit you get ABI. You still have to win your fights with skill but having Koen being something you can buy makes people think they can win and then becomes predatory micro transactions which is worse than it being pay to win. Same goes for war thunder haha spent too much on that game myself.

I really do enjoy taking some time off from Tarkov with some Arena Breakout from time to time but there sure are things that are sort of "off putting" so to speak. My main concerns are: 1. The amount of hackers in ranked games, (saw a guy on killcam literally tracking me through walls) 2. It isn't pay to win per se imo, but having secure containers constrained by a time limit is not fun to say the least. 3. Loot value is very low compared to gear and item prices, you'll need to loot very high traffic areas to get anything of decent value. (this is even more bitter when joining a game with gear worth 100k or more then get taken out by a hacker. 4. Having a set kit value to play other game modes (should be free to play with whatever gear you want too no matter the value. In conclusion: I enjoy it a lot when atleast one of the previous concerns are not present (hackers), the other things I can live with. I think it's a nice transition if you wanna try Tarkov but you're new to these types of games. Overall a solid 6/10 :D Would recommend!

ABI is free to play but you can top up if you want for whatever reasons. Some are for Event Skins but most people don't spend real money for High Tier Gears, they spend it on Area Keys. This will make your top up more profitable and rewarding.

A pay 2 win in an extraction shooter would be buying gear that persists with you even after deaths- because tldr: pay 2 win is not just conviniance of getting shit quicker, it's also trivializing a gameplay mechanic, like loosing gear if you die on deployment. Also, WartHunter, rael? Only good thing about this game is it's OST, and if you like watching monkey screaming- the ammount of times communities leaked gov info to get at each other.

Use rigs or armorrigs for tetrising(Organizing your loot), theyre really helpfull especially where theres a bag that can be use for tertris. Some rigs had extra slot in'em than the rigs size itself. Instead of bringing guns try detached the gear/attachment and just bring expensive guns in your primary and secondary. Try to remember which gun is cheap and expensive so you wont regret bringing expensive guns instead of cheap guns. Sharing knowledge for timmies out there who needs help to get rich without pay2win.

I have Never collect garbage stuff for exchanging . As for me, it’s wasting of space + you can by missing items from market. For example: 926 tier 5 vest costs 120k koen, if you buy items to exchange it will be cost 100 k.

strict definition- yes. but reality... nah. you do have an advantage if you pay money, but its not that great. the main thing is that you can buy a bigger security box in case you find valuable loot and die before extracting. But in reality it lets you maybe keep 10 -30% of your gear cost when you get killed before extracting. Unless you find a red item or bring in some really expensive ammo, its not that huge an advantage, although it does let you play a bit riskier by bringing in expensive stuff you might not want to risk otherwise. But now you can't put expensive helmets or thermals into that, so its utility went down quite a bit.

I'm a casual playing in AB mobile and I got more gear and money to buy gear that idk wtf to do with it but just sell the gear for dirt cheap in the market and then build stupid guns, so if pc market economy is like mobile then there wont be a problem because even the highest tier of armor is surprisingly cheap in mobile. Although this assumes that gear spawns are the same as mobile so it may be better or worse, we'll see in time.

If you can spend money to get items that give an in game stats that are improved over what someone who has not spent that money has access to, then it’s P2W. But P2W varies. Warthunder is P2W, WoT is P2W, Tarkov is P2W. But all of those games are pretty well balanced - maybe with the exception of Tarkov, which is more ‘pay for QoL’ to the extent you can win, even against someone in a premium vehicle or using gold ammo. Compare that to, say Raid: Shadow Legends, where someone who spends money on random heroes can complete the *every day, normal* missions they put up, while a F2P cannot, and you have a world of difference. For people looking to make a stand - and I understand why they would - then this game is absolutely P2W. … and of course, not everyone is as good as FairTX :-)

Is it easier to survive getting hit wearing bad armor or good armor? Is it easier to swipe your Credit Card or loot and kill other people? ABM here. Even though you pay for the currency it's still not pay to win even though you bought yourself a high tier loot you still dying the same way as non pay players.you a chad with t6? You died as the same way you're not immortal. Not pay to win unless.you only need to be good if wanted to play with ease not about pay to win they ain't giving you extras health. Edit: the currency pay is just to make your account survive and not going broke.

Anecdotal evidence that you have succeeded doesn't disprove that the structure of the game is a p2w model yes high skill players will have high value stashes but the game is built to have many players reaching for card to keep going. I have high stash value in tarkov that only requires looting and surviving not being amazing at winning fights.

the mobile version has alot of maps that the pc version doesnt have, theres tv station, northridge, port, i suggest playing mobile if you can, but it is very hectic compared to pc and very hard

While I think they should take it out once they add the battle pass and skins, I've experienced taking out geared players on my own. So Its not impossible to take out those people who buy their way in the game. It's the subscription of the secure containers that is a bigger issue. Because it does give you an advantage over making money in game which is the basis of the entire game. Both still really bad business practice that turns off a lot of people from even trying the game

Having played Tarkov a lot and this game quite a bit, it's not really pay to win because paying will not buy you skills and knowledge. And I have killed and looted better geared players a lot to prove that. If it's expensive, it's more like "pay a lot to maybe win".

tbh i think the only reason why they did that is so they would have only one way to generate money from their free game. So you got the people spending tons of money so they can obviously get the best loot, but people know to aim for legs, arms, n face and can kill them... that "P2W" really dont matter. Especially for us tarkov players.

not p2w, its pay2fast, but honestly the only anoying thing about that is how the market prices inflate, a god way to fix it would be just being able to buy every single item ment 4 pvp (armor, ammo, attachments, heals) on traders, so theres a price cap that stops ppl from selling stuff 4x the price

actually this is between pay to win and progress see it is free game and for the company to make profit they had to add micro transaction in to it even tho you pay to get early good gear dont forget that if you are free player you dont have anything to lose just dump gear and if they lose their gear lets say they lost 10 bucks and imagine losing 10x gear to a mosin guy i mean it in between.
