I just got the game. I load into my first scav round ever. I walk 3 meters and BOOM a mine. Some other scav dude sees me but is scared because of the mine sound. Both my legs are broken but i still waddle over to him. Hee sees what happened, and i drop him my scav sniper and all my shit I had. He takes the sniper but shakes his head. Then he runs away. I crawl a bit and almost give up. Then i hear someone running in my direction. Its the scav guy from the start! He drops me alu splints and a saleva also a vest and a helmet he got from a guy he killed with my sniper. I heal and we both walk around a bit, kill some dude take his shit then we walk on a big road. 2 other crazy geared people walk in our direction, we all aim at each other for some seconds then i pull out my knive. They are chill and we walk with them. Suddenly the coop extract timer pops up on my screen and i realise those guys were Pmcs not scavs but without a word said we were all chill with each other. Then we extract and i never saw them again but it was such a cool first ever round man.

During the zombie event after they cleared out of interchange. I used him as a shield some low level PMCs started shooting at I ran behind him knowing they would hit him. I grab some cover heal and when I pop out they are all layer out. Got some decent gear.

having a good teammate must be great. I usually play solo, playing with randoms is a mixed bag. sometimes they are good and communicate and don't steal your kills, but other times, especially when you take down multiple enemies, they will sneakily run up and loot your kills first. I wish they would make it so that bodies can't be looted by anyone else in the team until the person who got the kill goes first. I don't mind if they take stuff I leave behind, but it sucks when they just go in and take the weapon or armor. And it happens about half the time I play with randoms, so I tend to just go solo nowadays.
