People thinks that this song doesn’t suit Lucy, but you have to understand, being strong is not just pointing towards being physically strong. Yeah, compare to the other Fairy Tail members, Lucy may not be strong in terms of fighting skills or intelligence, but she have strong beliefs. Her mentally itself is strong and that’s honestly a greater strength than you think. You think being mentally strong and stick to your own belief is very easy, but how many of us actually stick to our dreams? Lucy wanted to be a celestial magician ever since young and despite knowing that celestial magics are generally weak compared to other magics, she was still determined to be one. Maybe you might argue that celestial magic is actually not weak, as the later episodes revealed that they are powerful in ancient times, but in the story it was explicitly mentioned that celestial magicians are rare to find, let alone a strong celestial magician. You think Lucy wouldn’t know that being a strong celestial magician is a hard achieving goal? She could have give up celestial magic and learn another magic, but she insist continue being a strong celestial magician. Not only that, her father also didn’t approve her dreams, but she was so determined that she, a rich girl who grew up never having to worry about living problems, was willing to leave home to pursuit her dreams, even if it means she have to live in poverty. She was obviously struggling with living, she was constantly seen looking for jobs on the board. How many of us actually have the courage to live on our own without any help from our parents? And she grew up rich as well, she had servants, best living environment and services. Imagine one day it all went away and suddenly you need to struggle with money when all your life you had everything served on a golden plate. (Her father may not have treat her well emotionally, but we know he loves her and pretty sure he gave her everything he could materialistic wise) Even I, an average child from a middle class family couldn’t even imagine how in the world would I be surviving without any help from my family. She choose a dangerous path and stick to it till the end, I’ve seen so many who gave up on their dreams because they couldn’t endure the hardship. Can you do it?

forget that it suits them well I mean what about her loss and she feels guilty alot, also what about her dad, But it has Erza and Mira and that works for them even better but in my personal opinion this song would fit Levy, Cana, and Juvia best you know the weaker characters but in all reality Levy is the strongest Fairy Tail member i mean if she wrote random things like dragon , pain , boulder, heck even storm so Levy is the most powerful in the guild, but forget all that I wanna know what program you used to make this video

Song fits the anime... but not Lucy. This is a song about rising up above the challenge, to overcome that which was expected to beat you... Lucy has never won a single fight by herself lol. Not the best example... She has come close a few times, but no cigar sadly. Which sucks. I really want her to win for once, but she always, always either loses or gets help from others.

I have to disagree! Lucy has held her own on multiple occasions, and while she's not the most powerful mage in Fairy Tail, that by no means implies that she is in any way weak. She was the only on with the sense to close the Eclipse portal in the GMG arc, and, what else...oh, yeah, SHE SAVED EVERYONE IN FAIRY TAIL IN THE MOST RECENT MANGA ARC. Everyone. By herself. There's also the fact that she is strong as a person. She's endured so much emotional pain, and a lesser person, in the same situation, would have allowed this pain to break them. But not Lucy. She fought through it. She's not the strongEST, but she is incredibly strong.

Um, hello? Does the Fighting Festival arc mean anything to you? She beat Bickslow single-handedly. She is not weak, just surrounded by incredibly powerful wizards. Counting on par with Natsu as strong isn't a fair judgement. She tricks Kain in the S-Class Trial arc and is the first to realize the Eclipse Gate must close.

***** The thing is, with her magic we never can say she fought any battle alone since her magic is literally summoning someone to fight for her. It does get better though, like when she summons the freaking Celestial King. But that was a bit of a up and down move. It brought me respect for her due to the cost, but its still saddens me she cant win a fight without her spirits doing it for her.
