I like to think the reason why Sema is "True" Heavenly Body Magic, is because it is the only spell that instead of using some form of magic that imitates celestial bodies, actually summons a real celestial body, a meteor in this case.

@Noa Goldenberg I believe Laxus, I'm going with him because during the battle of Fairy Tail, it took both Gajeel and Natsu to beat him and even then Natsu barely managed, even Gajeel said so. And Natsu did beat Jellal in the Tower, but that's just my opinion, of course. I love Jellal as a character, but Laxus does know spells like Fairy Law, and dragon slaying magic :v

So if Sema is this destructive. It makes sense now why Ultear asked Meredy to use her Body link and gobbled up lots of chili in Meredy's mouth to stop Jellal from casting this powerful spell. Also, it makes sense now why Erza said during her fight with Irene that Deus Sema is like Jellal's magic but even bigger and massive. ❤️

I think he can control the force of the attack of Sema. Just like how he used Sema on the OS arc, and Meredy is safe despite she's in the area too. Jellal uses his head, he wouldn't have use an attack that would put everyone at the Stadium in danger. That Sema was only meant to bring down Jura in that fight so he can help FT win a match
