So I’m gonna explain some things maybe you didn’t understand, which is normal when you didn’t watch fairy tail. Hades has his devil eye this devil eye is connected with the devil heart which is in a another room on the ship. The devil heart gives the owner of the devil eye unlimited magic power. The fairy tail cats destroyed the devil heart and so hades doesn’t have any longer unlimited magic power but he has his own magic power that’s why he could fight without the eye. The Tenrou Island is the holy island from fairy tail. So the tenrou tree gives all the fairy tail members their magic power back when it’s empty. But the tree was destroyed by the guild from hades. And ultear the woman you saw with the white clothes she was a member of hades guild but she helped fairy tail and fixed the tree and then all the fairy tail member got their magic power back. And laxus was a fairy tail member but he got banned. Good to see that you enjoyed fairy tail it’s one of my favorite anime and i hope you are gonna react more to fairy tail. Even without the devil's eye, Hades' magic was stronger than all of theirs combined. If it weren't for Laxus, the cats, and the tenrou tree Fairy Tail would have lost big time.

The final blow Hades throw at Natsu actually hit him but it ineffective cause Natsu was “nightmares” himself, not that the heart been destroyed. Mayor spoiler.

Jesus Pabon if you watch the current season you know, as for this fight I’ll explain the huge foreshadow, Hades through his attack at Natsu while Natsu fly toward him, the attack landed on Natsu but didn’t do a thing, than Natsu proceed to punch Hades to the face, that when the heart was destroyed and the shadow start to collapse, what this mean is Natsu is low on magic power and pretty weak at that moment but he take a full blown nightmare to the face and came out not even a scratch on him.
