Question: the tiles with the river - are they only river tiles? Because the river seems to pass through mountains, forest, and plains. So would they be river AND mountain, plain, or mountain? The instructions aren't clear on that.

It actually looks like a great game... if only the luck Zee commented on could be better controlled. Could you add a varient where you draft a small number of cards for example?

Honestly, to me this seems like a game that would bore the pants off anyone over 7-8 years old. Zee was awfully kind to it. Zee, are we going to have to start calling you Zahdo?

Played it and gave up after about 5 minutes. No real choices and big luckfactor killed it for me.

I am an adult male in my 50s and I enjoy the game. Always a treat to hear others treat their own personal view about a game as the view that everyone should hold. Call me crazy, just a crazy theory of mine, but game tastes are subjective and unique. Just a thought.

Taluva-style game, which I hate. Also, how many times were you stuck on your turn and could do nothing? I just wonder. Come on! Even if you play it with 2 players only, the other player can screw you over more often than not.

They generally can’t “screw you over” because they cannot tell precisely what you are working on. Yes, there are turns when you cannot accomplish what you need, or see it will be difficult. That is why the “turn the page” mechanism is in the game. Sounds like you would not enjoy the game, so don’t buy it. Many others will enjoy it.
