In middle school I would spend a lot of time talking to trees behind my house. That sounds really weird I know, but it felt comforting and as if they listened. One time I even cried over a stump, I was struck with overwhelming emotion. I told my friend about this and she stilks makes fun of me for it. But I still believe that those trees weren't just blocks of wood

They are sooo real. And some you can even see a face. And if you look around there's some you can see where their "arms" would bend and where their feet would be which would of been right at the root area. Just magnificent.

They all have their own inherent spirit, and trees were put here to teach us, as they possess enormous wisdom. If you are ever stressed out or anxious, just by hugging a tree, it will take it from you willfully. Just remember to thank and give an offering, it depends on the tree. The people that use the term "tree-hugger" have no clue the reason people do this.

I think that the Ents, in Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings," were based on real entities. Intelligent trees, sometimes malevolent, can be found in many fairy tales and children's stories. Where do these ideas come from, if not from some source far back in history when such creatures were known to be real?

I only ever told my family, and they quickly dismissed what I had to say, but when I was a girl I had a fairie garden. I was sitting in our play room, playing games with my brother and I turned around and looked out the window. There was a small ball of light, in the middle of the day mind you, bouncing along the leaved in my garden. I told my brother, but by the time he turned around it was gone. That summer a beautiful pink flower grew. It was wild and different from anything I had seen. To this day I believe what I saw. I haven’t seen anything like it since

Fairy Trees and their Properties Alder - Sacred to water fairies. Never cut one down. Ash - Sacred to all fairies, stand in its shadow and no fairy will harm you. Birch - The lady of the woods. Said to wander the woods at night. Don't get too close, certain malevolent fairies live in its branches. Elder - This tree protects both fairies and humans. Plant one by your door. Hazel - Tree of fairy wisdom. Hawthorn - Favourite spot for fairy meetings. Do not disturb. Oak - A fairy dwells within. To pass into the fairy world, squeeze between two oaks that have grown close together. Pine - Tree of immortality. Rowan - Protects against all fairy forces. Never cut one down. I honestly had no idea that fairies were actual sightings that people had/have until about a few years ago, which is why in certain areas it's illegal to disturb mounds! I really just thought they were something from fairy tales. But, I heard that if you leave them sweet snacks around in the woods/forest...they won't really bother you. I also heard they get really pissed when you pick or eat those wild berries in those forests... people come up missing! Hope this helps someone.

It's highly possible that in the first story it was the fairy acknowledging that the humans had helped the oak tree. If you’re going to smudge, you need to do a few things so it works. Smudge EVERY CORNER. This means basement and attic space too. Have 1 window open, start on one side of the window, work your way around the room/house finishing at the other side of the window to purge the bad energy. Then to finish REPLACE THE ENERGY! You can’t wipe the slate clean with sage and then leave it empty. You have to refill it with good energy (smudge with lavender or something that ADDS good energy) if you just leave it empty the bad energy can re enter the same night. Good luck! Love and Light to you all! 💖🕯

Hi I'd really like to share my encounter with one of the little people. It was late summer waaaay back in 85/86 and I had been playing with my friends in the woods, having spent the day playing up, in and around the trees and in the forest stream. I was making my way home... i came to the little old medieval bridge that passes over the stream and onto the trackway across the field back toward my home. The bridge tops a little weir that roars over mossy ragstone. As i approached the bridge which I had crossed many times before... i suddenly felt a very peculiar feeling not dread or fear but certainly not comfortable, I became aware of the light which seemed to have taken on a golden hue... the sun light piercing the plump summer bows of an English wood, seemed somehow more defined... and the insects dancing in the light seemed... louder... its really difficult to describe... ordinarily their gentle buzz is audible but isn't pervasive... yet now it seemed like thet were right by my ear... I thought maybe I was just hot and tired and needing a drink of water, I thought id sit down and rest, cool off a little. As i sat my attention was drawn to the rocks beneath the bridge... Something was sitting there... small maybe 2 foot in height? with its feet in the water... l could see he had a long white beard... a tonsured crown that seemed burnt red by the sun... He wore an old style frock coat which was russet in colour. Black pantaloons and beside him a tri corn hat... i can only describe his skin colour as chestnut brown and his face was wrinkled like a prune... two long ears pointed at the end drew back behind his wispy hair.. I couldn't believe what I was seeing... I started up... That was when its head whipped round and a look of suprise and shock crashed onto his puckered little face... he whipped up his hat and promptly vanished... I turned and ran back into the woods in a panic to get away from what I had just seen... I didn't go back across the bridge... instead I went to the top of the woods and along the road that circumnavigated the wood... it meant a mile or so getting added on to my journey home. But rather that than getting a Faery curse placed upon me! I have been back to the little bridge many times... but i have kept my secret... and each time I approach the area near the bridge i made sure I called out a greeting... So the ancient wee man doesn't get such a shock. I have always known that Faerys are real never doubted it even in adulthood... i can feel when they are near by and always keep a respectful distance from where ever they are... i have never had such a close encounter since... and i don't think I particularly want to either... happy to let them be.

I’m 42 yrs old. I was born in Romania in 1978. I have seen a 🧚♂️ or one we would consider to be a fairy. It happened multiple times. I was a child playing in our garden, with a toy I remember... a tractor. I heard my name being called, looked up and the didn’t see anyone. I continued to play. Once again I heard my name being called. This time I looked up, we had a fence around our house. The fence was a green painted fence made of metal. Those were popular back then. As I look up, my eyes fall on something right at the end of our house/fence and the neighbors house begins... on top floating was at first thought a female.. I only seen her back, long dress, and hair.. she disappeared passed our house.. so I got a glimpse. I didn’t know what to think. I continued playing and once again I heard my name called. As I look up. Dead center of our fence a lady, in dress floating.. beautiful hair and a smile.. I don’t remember if her lips moved, but she called me out again.. while floating and she smiled, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She was somewhat transparent.. she glowed. I told this story many time to my family. And it happened a few other times, but I remember it vividly.

I saw winter fairies, or what I assumed were. It was New Year's Eve and I had a few beers, but I or anyone else I know, haven't hallucinated on beer. They looked like little blue lights and seemed to fly with purpose and intelligence. I knew they knew I was a believer, and a friend. They seemed to be having a get together, after all, it was a time for humans to celebrate, why not them as well. I told my Mom and daughter that there were fae folk living in their tree. Mom, as always, didn't believe me, but who could blame her, I was a bit impaired. About a week later, Mom called and said they moved to the tree in the front yard, they both saw them. I think they heard her disbelief and moved to a tree she'd be sure to see. Now my whole family are fae enthusiasts. I'd love to see more of them, as long as they're peaceful, like these partying tree folk.

Another commenter here mentioned how they think fairies might live in a place sort of apart from us, and maybe we can only able see them when we’re in a “dopey dreamlike” state. Which would make sense if one was having a drink or two or otherwise had their “doors of perception” opened in some way, that they might see something like the fae. I really love reading people’s comments on here, but connecting these two comments really has intrigued me. Perhaps this is why shamen of some cultures use various substances to connect to other beings?

A friend and I were winter camping in late October. It hadn’t snowed yet but was a cold 34 degree. It was a moonless night with crisp, clear skies. My friend saw them first, and shortly after I did too. He described seeing squiggles of light zipping past him a few feet away. I honestly didn’t believe him, until I saw one too. It was way too cold for bugs, and these “squiggles” were sort of like tadpoles swimming through the air, only they were either red or white light, and each was only visible for a second or two. We observed them sporadically for about 45 minutes, when a deep grumbly growl sound broke the silence. We didn’t hear anything walking in the woods or brush, yet this sound seemed to be no more than 15-20 feet away from us. I figured it was likely a bear because the depth of the sound had to come from something pretty big, yet we were not in bear country. Why climbing in my tent and just going to sleep sounded like a perfect idea, I don’t know, but that’s what I did. In hindsight I should’ve got in my van, locked the doors and tried to figure out what was out there with us. I went straight to sleep instead, waking up happy to still be in one piece in the morning. This happened 15 yrs ago and I’ve never heard anyone describe seeing lights like we saw that night. Not orbs, not light bugs, unlike anything I’ve seen before or since. Any suggestions as to what they were?

If I remember my Celtic legends, a tree spirit is called a dryad. They are supposed to fade out of existence if their tree is killed.
@-Reagan3 жыл бұрын
Isn't it interesting to know trees ARE quite alive, a fact so many take for granted. In many folktales, spirits who are said to inhabit them may die with the tree, if the tree dies, like dryads. Certainly many creatures do the same, so is it such a stretch to think one more creature might depend on a tree to live? If a tree could talk what might it say? Some do all they can to get our attention, except to walk, but even to dance with their many limbs, arraigned in shows of flowers or bright leaves, all shivering, shaking... beckoning.

They live in a realm slightly apart from us. I think that is why they are only seen if they want to be seen or if we are in a dopey, dream like state, then we can accidentally see them. When we are more open in our consciousness. That is my theory anyway. 💜☺️ Edit: yeah, the vibrational difference is exactly what I think. 🤗 What are your theories? 🤓✨

Another commenter saw them after a few beers! Your theory could have something to it, that maybe substances “open the doors of perception” like Alduous Huxley suggested. Beer googles or what have you, may make us more open minded to all things, whether it’s a date with a less attractive person or witnessing the fae. Super interesting theory, thank you for sharing it :)

Ater having the same dream a few times and it feeling so REAL I finally went to the area I dreamed about and there was the stonewall! I was convinced It was gonna lead to the river I dreamed about. Yet again elfin hands rap, the wee hours of the summer solstice did I hear them tap. First a click, like door closing, mischief abound to frighten and bewitch. First one time, five knocks, and a second, five more, and a third time five taps, and they tapped no more. This is a poem of my most recent real life encounter with the wee elfin tree folk. On the Midsummer Eve June 21st 2020, at around 12:00 am or 1 am, as I celebrated the solstice, they chose to visit me yet again. I believe they're marvelously tinkering with some unknown metal as the sound I heard was reminiscent of the tapping of a small hammer against a metal surface, perhaps even gold which many of them covet. I thought it was an animal, (at first) but it quickly turned into a paranormal encounter because I searched long and hard for a source to this phantom tapping. This story is 100% true, truest of all. I even have witnesses. They're real, just keep an eye out, all ye believers!

While it is possible they were elves, woodpeckers make tapping noises that are very hard to pinpoint and carry for long distances. Did it sound like one of those at all?
@chance61763 жыл бұрын
@@aubreyackermann8432 As an avid bird watcher whose familiar with many species of woodpeckers, I know it was not one of them. Once more, this happened in the dead of night, which is a time when many birds are asleep, and to which I have never heard a woodpecker drum at midnight. And furthermore, it was five distinct taps, like a person knocking on a door in calculated rhythm. This happened two more times after the first, each five taps. No more, no less, each within the span of five minutes apart. While an animal could be the culprit, the occurrence of the phenomena seemed oddly intelligent to say the least, as if to gain my attention, perhaps as a practical joke. I did search for a solid thirty minutes to rule out people or animal as well, and found no one. I am convinced at the very least that there was some sort of presence with me that night, and although I will never know for sure what it was knocking on the tin roof of the barn at midnight, I think giving it a little whimsy eases the soul. To follow up this little encounter, I did also see a small creature resembling some sort of elf while in the woods. Around ten inches tall, he was spindly and had grey skin, though this could have been mud covering his skin. I saw him betwixt two kissing trees, he was holding onto a sort of staff, leaning on it, his eyes were rather large as well. I made out that he was also wearing clothes, although not the sort that one might associate with an elf. I should call them pelts of animals. He was not there long, it didn't register in my mind until I took a double take and by that time he had vanished. In that sense, perhaps the night tapper was the same little so and so I saw in the trees. At least I like to think so. As I said, they're out there, in all shapes, sizes, colors, and creeds. I really hope that anyone who watches SFG videos find themselves in a world of beauty, and perhaps magic.

The cases of poltergeist/targeted paranormal activity tend to happen to individuals with astral energy capacity that is not expended properly so it flares with their emotions. It's similar to ADHD fidgeting for the body to expend energy but intense.

@@L3onking This is truly interesting to me. Thanks so much for explaining it. I lost a friend who was extremely psychic, but was afraid of it and thought it was evil. I wish she would have met someone like you who could have explained it to her.

@@screeningmimi my condolences, people with astral perception are targets for the beasts. They aren't demons but are often confused with them since they act like a black hole inhaling every bit of energy from a person until they can't bear it anymore. I used to be plagued by them and I think it's a miracle I'm alive. Your friend was lucky you cared about them enough to wish that they had a mentor, that empathy is rare nowadays and you should be proud of yourself for having that light in you

@@L3onking Thank you so much. My friend would also see deceased people, and sometimes a violent crime in progress, although it had taken place long ago. I don't know what you would call that, but the onl way she could shut it off was alcohol.

We met a fairy when we were still in Ireland. Her name was Autumn and she was the most beautiful girl I had ever met. She long wavy black hair and violet eyes. Her ears were pointy and the tips barely showed through her hair. She was the size of an eight year old little girl and to us she was a child like we were. She just showed up one day and watched us as we played in the garden.

I use to go into the forest and talk to the fairies. I ve never seen a fairy but began feeling something run across my bed at night or when I was meditating. Until one day I was wrestling with my 9 year old boy when he froze. Somehow I knew he had seen what I was feeling so often. I asked him “did you see it?” “What did it look like?” He told me he saw a face that looked like a cat peaking up from behind the bed.

OMG, don't smudge them away from their territory! Sheesh, that is a no brainer. If they are angry, talk to them and find out why. If they really don't want you there, leave!

In the first story, the old oak tree’s root system is still pulling up water and nutrients so it can grow faster than a usual seedling

The 'traditional fairy' actually is not what people used to see fairies as. The small pixy-like tiny winged fairy didn't become common until later times. Mostly like 18th century (if my memory serves me right).

To the person with the angry golden eyes and nightly smudging: chances are something in your house was made from a sacred tree...if not part of your house itself. Try acknowledging this vocally. Let them know you did not destroy their home but you are happy to share your home with them. Keep fresh fruit out, have live plants in your home. You'll be surprised how the plants will flourish.

Oak trees are fast growing trees, especially new young ones. This one potentially could have grown 6 feet in that time period especially if well nurtured! But still, it sounds like it had help from the forest fairies!

place i have been to many of these manifestations is old highway 666 from denver to texas it's a haunted highway which once was a navajo road/trail they charged the name cuz it's rep. was getting too notorious with a variety of shape shifters and disappearing hitch hikers. haunted semi-trucks that tailgate motorist, and wild dogs that try to eat ur tires. they changed the name from highway name to highway 531. when it was named 666/ devils highway it had the highest number of deaths of any highway in the country. there are good stories on search engines about old highway 666. my truck broke down on thay highway once had to walk like 10 miles to get help it was a dark star filled nite and the coyotes never stopped howling all nite.

They are, we just aren't privy to it. There are many things in National Parks, and many people do go missing. Though I wouldn't necessarily place that in the hands of Fair folk, as there are much more terrifying things out there.

My daughter and myself were sleeping next to eachother once . ( we slept together a lot but this particular night we were at my parents house and asleep with my other two children in the rec room ) so my son and my eldest daughter were also present but in a seperate bed . In the early am ..., Brooke and myself both opened our eyes quickly we both sat up as if we had been up for hours and full of vigor ... she and I met eyes and we both smiled as if we knew a secret no one else did about where we had been ... and for the life of me and this has been years already from today ..not one detail of the reason why or the places in which were waking up from can be acsessed by myself or by her ... but in that moment we began retelling eachother about our dream we didint pause we finished each others emsebtences abd we both said we felt really excited and intensely happy with the fact tgat the other was ale to accurately describe abd remeber what the other wanted to tell abd share ! Iam certain we were dreaming together .

Loved this first story! I'm bad n usually start commenting before getting thru the first story before im keyboarding about hunches and things. The lady n her smudging needs to try like u might with a poltergiest.. Asking aloud n with respect u know they are there and see what they need. As much as some of us(me!) think we know or guess instead of just validating the being.. Then asking being what help it needs... They r usually either curious of need ur help. Great Channel!

Omg! She saw an Entire! A tree Shepard or tree herder if u will. J.R.R. Tolkein, Lord of the Rings etc. Author before righting books n novels he was a professor of ancient languages and histories. Where u ask could he have gotten inspiration? Surely not sacred texts and writing of words from actual history?! NO!!?? YES!!!!

I think you mean "Ent" - perhaps autocorrect (?) Tolkien named them, perhaps short for "entity". Yes, there are many tales older than his about similar entities... these "tree spirits" are universal and known by different names in different cultures and among different native tongues. Did Tolkien see or encounter one (or many) of them, himself... ? Makes one wonder.
