Many thanks boys, I became quite emotional watching this. My dad was born in Dublin and though he is no longer with us I think of him fondly and miss him dearly. You brought back some lovely memories. I need to come back and visit Dublin soon, raise a glass to him and the Irish in me.

Can't agree more, when Shane and Jem pend it together they never meant any insults to anyone, you couldn't meet more genuine people than the Pogues as a group, you still sounded good all the same , RIP Shane McGowan, U will be missed by more than your nearest and dearest, your many loyal fans through out the world like myself, gone but never forgotten 🤘👍☘️☘️☘️

@@DavidtheWriter Because this original song Irish composer Shane Macgowan passed away recently. His life was bumpy road sometimes but he made great music. He has pure soul. This cover is a pray and praise for him, I feel.
