He took this from works like Lost Enlightenment by Frederick Starr (Who served as US Policy advisor). The purpose of this person's research was to show Islamic literature (Qur'an / Hadith) had nothing useful to offer so the only success was in branching into Greek or Roman style rhetoric in order to 'advance' civilization. When in reality, Mu'tazilla have not produced any significant scientific advancement. He claimed Mu'tazila brought 'Golden Era of Islam', but uses examples of scholars that have nothing to do with this ideology. In fact Mu'tazilah decided to focus on Analyzing the Creator rather than Analyzing Science of Creation. They focused more on nonsense like 'What type of hands Allah has' instead of working on Scientific advancement that benefits mankind. The reason for downfall of Islam was abandonment of their principles and instead engaging in Mu'tazila style hypothetical rhetoric about 'Where is Allah's throne?', 'What is the nature of Shaitan'. Instead of Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology. This person also says 'Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal brought Jabariya style ideology'. Hanbalis have always opposed this ideology (they even vehemently opposed Ash'ariyya). This is evidence-less sensationalism.

This hidden 'atheism' is what Mu'tazila brought (nothing else). Ask him to list relevant 'scientific' accomplishments of Mu'tazilla. Mu'tazilla wasted time with 'What is the nature of Shaitan', 'Where is Allah located?' etc, instead of Sciences. Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal put a stop to this because such line of inquiry benefits no one. Science is a tool to analyze the creation, not the Creator. Even Western Scientific thought recognized this a long time ago and they stopped their 'inquiry' about God's whereabouts and started focusing on World Sciences. (Which is what Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal promoted). This guy is just promoting ideas written by Orientalist scholars and researchers paid to promote a specific agenda showing that Islam had nothing significant to offer Muslims and that the only successful Muslim is the one who lives life according to the moral code set by Western Ideologues. Some parts of this 'series' are taken directly from 'Lost Enlightenment' By S. Frederick Starr (Who has been commissioned by the US government for such tasks). In his 'research' he even says al-Khwarizmi was more Zoroaster than Muslim. Basically implying the same thing Mr. Faisal did, that by sticking to Islam you will fail.

​​@@baybars3138سلام علیکم جبر قدر کا مسئلہ پرانا ہے اور قرآن و تاریخ سے معلوم بھی یہی ہوتا ہے ۔ کیوں کہ رسول اللہ نے آخری خطبہ میں کہ دیا تھا کہ میں اپنا پیغام پورا پہنچا چکا یعنی اب کچھ نیا بتانا باقی نہیں ۔ سو قرآن سے جواب ڈھونڈا تو معلوم ہوا کہ جبریہ کوئ نیا گروہ نہیں تھا نہ ہے۔ آپ خود قرآن پڑھیے دیکھیے جا بجا یہ بات لکھی ہے کہ جب عربوں سے پوچھا جاتا کہ خالق کل کون ہے تو کہتے اللہ ۔ لیکن الللہ کو الرحمن ماننے سے انکار کرتے تھے ۔ اس کی سمجھ مزید ایسے قرآن دیتا ہے : جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ مسکیں کو کھانا کھلاو تو کہتے ہیں کیا اسکو کھلائیں جسے اللہ چاہتا تو خود کھلا دیتا ۔۔۔۔ عرب جبریہ سوچ ہی کے ماننے والے تھے جیسا کہ روم وغیرہ بھی تھے ۔ اسی جبر کی حاکمیت کے خلاف ہی رسولوں نے کام کیا ۔ اسے امویوں عباسیوں تک محدود کر کے آپ رسول اللہ کی دشوار کٹھن مشن کی اہمیت کبھی نہیں سمجھ سکیں گے ۔ وہ اس وقت اکیلے "جس کی لاٹھی اسکی بھینس " والوں سے نبرد آزما ہوے جب سوائے جناب خدیجہ و علی کے سوا کوئ انکے پاس نہ تھا۔ دوسری بات، شکریہ اس مورخ کا کم سے کم ایک آدمی تو یہ سچ بولا کی برطانوی یہاں اپنا نظام تعلیم رائج کر گئے اور مشہور یہ کردیا کہ ہم سے پہلے تو ہندوستان میں تعلیم تھی ہی نہیں ۔ دیکھا سچ کیا ہے ؟ صدیوں سے علم کی کھوج ہندوستان میں ہوتی تھی اور مغلوں کے دور تک اسی طرح جاری رہی ۔ اسی لیے اقبال نے کہا تھا "یونانیوں کو جس نے حیران کردیا تھا میرا وطن وہی ہے میرا وطن وہی ہے " ۔ اللہ آپ سب بھائیوں کو نور حق سے نوازے۔
