Superb review, in fact probably the best I have seen. Many people are swayed by the brand name and a lot of reviews concentrate on just the positives without pointing out any negatives. This review tells it exactly as it is.

I recently bought this guitar. I also have a PRS parlor, since I wasn't huge on acoustic but wanted a smaller bedroom one. Honestly the guitar feels so open and inviting to play. I can't wait for it to age and become even better. The build quality and materials are brilliant. I tried the other brands in the same price range, I felt that the Martins didn't quite hit the spot at this price range. The Taylors were pretty good, and I was splitting hairs in terms of sound, but then I realised that the solid woods of the faith would only open up more over time. So it became a no-brainer after that

I have one (1 yr today) and I play it daily. I have a couple of Yamaha FGX series (Flamed Maple 840 / Rosewood 830C) and a Martin GPC 13E, soon to add an SC10E or SC13E. I can say all have distinct sounds but my favorite has to be the Faith for it's imminent playability. It is a dream to play and the sound is truly crystal clear, true and spot on, great if not a slight unique tone and a resonance that goes on and on. I do not "dig in" a lot, I'm not an aggressive player. Most of my strumming and picking is about mid push in at its max level, when amp'd it's more than enough volume a lot of great finger picking and light to medium strum mixes. Acoustic only not plugged in it sounds great, plugged in it sounds fabulous !. I Love this guitar, it's look, its tone and sound, the neck, string spacing, resonance and tone are exceptional. It is truly the best of the best in class along with my Martin's. They are different guitars, their soundings, tones are unique by design and if you look at it that way and not try to contrast and compare them, you will see the and hear the merits of both. Both are extraordinary instruments and inspire me to differentiate my style and songs penned and recorded that are more unique to the playing experience from and lives within each guitar. FWIW

Faith builds a absolutely beautiful and quality guitar. I do wish they would switch from Fishman preamps to LR Baggs. Fishman sounds poor compared to the mic.

This is a wonderful review, full of details. Yout describe it as mid heavy. What about the highs? I think they are also worth mentioning right? How would you compare it to the HiGloss model?
